*Pleas* *Pleas* test it in Android, these gimbals always disregard the Android apps and cut corners left and right compared to the IOS versions they put all the resources into
"GOOD FORBID TIK TOK VIDEO" YES FINALLY SOME GOOD VIBE FROM TOM. NOW. I'M SUBSCRIBING NOTE: I'VE BEEN A SUBSCRIBER FOR ABOUT A YEAR AND A HALF TODAY. LOL.
Definitely want to get this product as Im filming thing I literally have to sit with the phone and hold it. Also I'm rocking the S20+ and that is good value for something like that as Im on a budget
Great video currently using s20+ & iphone 11.Would love to try out gimbal on my next vacation.Hats to your partner supporting you in what u love to do.Gbless
5:09 - It is limited to 1080p 30. Yeah and that bugs the hell out of me. I have a 4K camera why the hell can't the gimbal cope with it? I have a real love hate with this dam thing. Usually it stays in my bag and I use my selfie stick, which is on me I know. But, so many things just wind me up with this machine.
pretty sure that depends on what phone and which camera you are filming on? I generally use the front facing camera which is limited to 1080 30fps on my phone, but Im almost certain if i use the rear camera it allows much higher resolutions in the app. I like to be able to see what im filming (selfie mode) so have to use the front camera.
works so well with the iphone 12. 2axis stabilization is enough if youre using a phone with an Optical Image Stabilization back camera, it smoothens out the jerkiness when walking. also a tip, when recording videos record with the gimbal stick fully extended. that smoothens out the Tilt axis jerkiness alot.
Would you ever consider doing an Apple Ecosystem vs Google Ecosystem? I.e. Pixelbook Go, Pixel 4, Google Nest, Pixel Buds, etc vs Macbook, iPhone 11, HomePod, Airpods, etc.
Funny story: I got myself a DJI om 5 for Christmas and taken it out to the pit when I went out 8 days after I got it. I left it in the pub and I had it for 8 days. I'm looking for some cheaper alternatives ,like the smooth X, because I'll probably leave it somewhere again.
The footage is stable only if you have a phone with a good stablization otherwise your video is a lot jerky and unusable. I return it a day later after test it.
Hey Tom! Please do a review of the new HP Envy 15. It looks like a real competitor to the XPS and MacBook Pro with a full set of ports and vapour chamber cooling!

Can you help me with an issue I’m having. I’m having trouble connecting it and getting it to work. I connected it via Bluetooth in settings and it just keeps spinning all the way to the left until it can’t and then spinning to the right until it can’t, and it repeats this nonstop until I stop it with my hand or turn it off. I’ve tried using the app and it does the same thing. When I do get it to work, it just rotates in the wrong direction which is upside down.
i can do weird things when you power it up if you dont ensure the gimbal controls on the handle are in line with the big "X" logo on the upper section (the part that rotates). Try lining the X (and the bit your phone goes in) up with the handle controls BEFORE powering the gimbal on?
and now for the non sponsored (truth) about this gimbal. Ive been using the Smooth X for almost a year now. Lots of very disappointed owners with reports of it not working when updating the gimbal software (and it constantly nags you in to doing it when youre trying to concentrate on your filming, and the option to say 'get lost I'm busy!' is tiny so very easy to accidently agree to it when you dont want to). I havent updated mine (complete PITA with the non-stop nagging) but at least mine still works. With my iPhone 8 plus, using the non-updated app, it works really quite well. Theres also a couple of other button press options not mentioned in this video like fixing the orientation. But it DOES crash far too often resulting in you losing all the footage you are currently recording. Ive lost count how much footage ive lost on this thing (usually when you think you just captured something great). It also frequently loses the bluetooth connection to the phone, simultaneously disconnecting the camera app and of course, again, losing what ever you were just shooting. It even decided to prompt me to update the app right in the middle of filming, again dropping all my footage (I DONT TRUST YOUR APP UPDATE GET LOST! When other users report its safe to use then I will). Frankly, the App is Crap, but without it it barely works at all either (see below). To be fair, WHEN it works, for the price its great, but its too unreliable to trust either recording long footage (I got in the habit of pressing to stop the recording so it saves on my phone, and then restart recording periodically to lessen the risk of losing so much footage) or to update the app for fear of bricking the gimbal all together. The most annoying part, is if you try to use it without their app. I also have a GoPro10 and while it physically fits, without the app this gimbal goes nuts and starts having fits if you try to film with the handle rotated 90 degrees up from vertical? (picture holding the handle at 3 and 9 on a clock face). As well as this the joystick to control where the camera is facing only seems to work when it feels like it. In the vertical it seems to work ok, but I never shoot in this way. I'm already looking for another gimbal, a 3-way this time, but there doesnt seem to be ANY currently sub £200 that also has a telescopic feature that I need. Zhiyun, sort your app out please. I'd also like to know why it goes nuts when not using the app, I (and many others) dont need your app features.
Not sure if I am only noticing it now or its always been there but nice touch on the UK Flag accent in your after the tech chap in the video, it works, I like it. Another thing, random question really, is the corona virus over in the UK, i am watching all the people in the background with no masks on and seems like life has gone back to normal, so just curious really? The gentleman with the little girl is the reason that I am asking this question. Love your works as always.
Horse tornado, ha! My daughter is going to love that. ...I’m trying to find out if I can track myself, gimbal on a table, using the better front camera, me walking around a bit? Is there a way?
I've ordered a Zhiyun crane M2, which arrives tomorrow. Although its cost me £199 i really wanted the option to use my Sony A6000 or my iphone or Go Pro. I'm sure i have a lot to learn but it should be fun for IRL streams.
The $59.99 price does not include the case or the tripod. Those are in the combo package at $69.99. Other than that and the grey or green shirt this was a great video.
@@DavidDeLuge Ok so my first question is I wanna buy this Gimbel for vlogging . And I'll take b roll shot's with it. I've observed the company has added a smart mode where short film or b rolls can be shoot. So my question is have you ever tried it? If yes, then do you see that there is a kind of watermark like shoot on smooth X. Is the watermark removable or it does appears in every single video? Secondly if you have shoot any video or made any films using that smart mode can you please mail it sir? It'll be a great help for me to choose.
@@barshan3158 the app based video editor does currently have a watermark that I don't think can be removed unless recent updates have addressed that (I've not used it for a couple of weeks). I recently took lots of footage of my son and his son jumping large RC trucks and then used the app to edit the various clips together, cut bits out, add text, music and transformations and it is very quick and easy to do on your phone. I ended up with probably a total of fifteen minutes of video, in various clips, edited into a single two minute video. Again, I am not emailing videos to you because I don't know you and they contain images of my seven year old grandson. I am, however, happy to answer any questions to assist you in your decision based on my experience. It definitely produces stable video (more so than just using my phone's built in stabilisation). The gestures have now been fixed, for the Android version, because they didn't work when I first got the app. The crashes I was experiencing have also been resolved and so they are making good improvements. The one thing to be aware of is that it does only have two axis stabilisation, which, for most uses, is perfectly fine. The object tracking also seem to work well. The zoom is quite fast, even on the slow setting. For the money, it is really good and so much more compact than many other products.
