This was his audition song for the show Super Vocals, he sang it in Italian. The other boys you can see are some of the other participants who sing on the show, there was no audience. He also sang Memory and The lonely goatherd on the same show, he won his heat with both these songs
@no chains no more You could be a Principle singer or an understudy on Super Vocals and he was an understudy. He was not the host of the New Year Gala the older judge was so impressed with his improvement with his confidence that he invited Zhou Shen to accompany him to the Gala.

Before that he self taught himself to sing by listening to hours and hours of all genres of music and singing. During school holidays, he wud fly back to China to work part time, and started his own livestream to sing but never dared reveal his face for several years bcoz he did not want to be called a sissy bcoz of his feminine voice. After he gathered many fans who wanted “him” to reveal his identity. He took the risk and reluctantly did. Middle school onwards through the time he was a dentistry student were the hardest time of his life, wondering if he ever be accepted as a singer and being thot of being weird. We’re glad he persisted and is now finally doing very very well and confident. However, with his success, everybody want a piece of him. Though he cherishes every opportunity to be on stage singing, he does not know how to say no, to set his priorities correctly. Someday, he’s going harm his physical self and have a meltdown.

Also in 2014 when he went on Voice of China which was the first time he stepped on a stage he only lasted I think 2 eps because back then they didn't know what to do with a voice like his, it was unheard of and he was voted off by the judges. He went on a spin off show of Voice of China and sang (A Beautiful Mistake), with some lovely comments from both him self and the commentators, look for the one with English subs. Thank you for reaction! I too "stumbled" across Zhou Shen accidentally a few days ago and have been looking for everything he ever recorded. He's got an extraordinary vocal range and a particular one of a kind resonance that another reviewer likened to the reverberations from a Tibetan bell. I hope we can all enjoy much more of this reportedly modest, funny, humble, and kind singer!
