GREAT RESULTS...I THINK THIS IS MY FAVORITE STYLE YET!!! The curl pattern looks like some of that hair I see some people using for crochet braids...KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!!!

I'm watching what you're doing with the zig zag technique and it appears to me that you're platting your hair using the pipe cleaners; am I right?....I love this alternate style and I'm glad that I found you on you tube.
Hi locsoflove. I am absolutely loving those zig zag curls. My own locs look much like yours and are about the same length. I normally plait mine to get that 'fuller' look, but I have used pipe cleaners, too - winding the loss around the pipe cleaners. I've found that the resulting curls, although they look great, don't stay in for longer than a couple of days. Your method looks much better - and the curls look as if they'll last a lot longer. I'm going to give them a try and let you know how it goes.
these are so fly. I never would have come up with this. I cut my love and now they r only shoulder length. I'm not sure what it'll look with being so short but I wanna try!
Ok so your curls are definitely on point! This is a loc style that I will have to try sometime in the future. It seems very time consuming but they are GORGEOUS!! Thanks for sharing pretty girl:)

So today i washed my hair and went to youre channel to see that you uploaded this video.I thought the style was really cute and easy.The downfall was i didnt have any pipe cleaners so i used my flew rods instead as a back up hoping it'll come out nice.

That came out great! I can't wait to try this one out. But do you have to put anything in your hair to keep your curls for those two weeks? Whenever my mom curls hers, they'll fall after a short time.
Nope, my locs were damp when I put these in. Your curls will last longer if you wait til your locs are completely dry before you take out the pipe cleaners. And curls last longer when you wrap your locs at night :)
So, you're basically braiding your locs onto the pipe cleaner, right? (girl, I ain't gonna read all those comments, so please forgive if it's already been asked...). Anyway, great idea and I'm gonna give that a go! Thanks :)
