I never thought I never thought of this kind of album covers until you mentioned something as bizarre as a turtle being king.

That was a huge, cosmic turtle indeed. Did S King make that up or is there a story behind the turtle? Always wondered.

@@dead2802 To my knowledge, there isn't any culture with a cosmic turtle in their mythology who vomited the universe into existence, like Maturin the turtle does in IT. A lot of cultures do have a turtle as being responsible for creating the earth but not the universe and not through vomiting. However, in the mythology of the Boshongo (Central Africa), they have a god called Bumba (or Mbombo) whom one day had a stomach ache and vomited the universe into existence, just like Maturin the turtle in IT. Bumba is not a giant turtle though, he's a giant white man. I think Stephen King may have conflated earth creation myths of turtles with the myth of Bumba to come up with Maturin. Just like Bumba, Maturin also appears to be a metaphor for the Big Bang. I have a book from Stephen Hawking titled "Brief Answers to the Big Questions" and he icludes the myth of Bumba as a metaphor for the Big Bang. This would explain why Maturin has cosmic origins and is so huge and why physics are a prominent theme in Stephen King's IT. I know this was really long, I'm sorry, but I love the symbolism behind Stephen King's novels.

Would it be this bad, if it is ai? I mean, if you have a vision for a coverartwork in your head, but do not have the skills to create it by yourself, why not use ai?

@@calebo.3577 it never directly copies, though. It just copies styles. You could argue that every artist copies other artists to varying degrees. If it would use artwork or parts of it 1:1, i would agree, but i think it is a bit more nuanced. However, i can see why artists would rather inspire other artists than ai.
