Hi Akros, excellent as always. On the topic of tuning, you'll hardly find someone who dislike midbass as much as I do but I have to admit from my experience, the vast majority of people prefer the moondrop blessing 3 tuning to be more "correct" or "high-end". Cinno tuning is pretty much an acquired taste.
I didn't like the nicehck nx7 mk1 much when I first got it about 5 years ago. I been taking them out recently and I seem to like them more these days possibly because I put super flat jabra tips on and I get the best seal and those tips really tighten the sound.
hi akros, how does cinno compared to tangzu fudu? and which do you like better? put the rhapsody aside because it's an anomaly 😂 by your recents reviews i think i'll buy the rhapsody no matter what. but still want to get the warm set between fudu or cinno
I'd describe the Cinno as a 'work' iem. Relaxed and your music just sinks in the background as you work. You can listen to them low if you don't want a distraction or loud because of that pinna gain and they do come alive with the volume increase. If you have the Hola and you love them you'll love the Cinno(I love my Hola, also refer to Paul Wasabi's review of Cinno). FuDu is a more in your face iem. You will definitely be listening to these when you aren't doing anything else since they'll distract you. Going loud will kill your ears depending on your tolerences. Deep bass, lovely mids and the highs as well. Sorry I can't describe sound as a reviewer but that's what I got.
How would you compare this with the Kara and Aful Magic One? Tuning seems similar, specially the Kara, i remember you describing it pretty much similarly to what you did here (old school musicality, darkish sounding, etc.)
Compared to Kara, it has slightly more mids energy, but overall they are very similar. As for Magic One , the One is better tuned in the mids. Bass the Cinno wins due to more energy. I can understand the inevitable comparison due to price , but it's not a fair battle ....5 drivers Vs 1
@@akros9333 yes, was just basing myself in overall tuning/ sound signature. to me it's more important than driver configuration. even though the aful ONLY has One driver, it's still more expensive. i have the kara and really like it. i think it's very underrated. not a technical beast but love its smooth and natural character. tone and timbre are great and very realistic and Confort and fit are also great. VERY tip dependent though. seems like the cinno is a worthy competitor.
I will never recommend a iem below 70 dollars with nore than 1 driver. Reason. A crap driver that costs 5 dollars goes in a iem that costs 40 dollars. For 80 dollars I would like a 10 to 15 dollars cost driver instead of one 5 dollars driver and then 2 ba that costs 4 dollars each. Then we pay 80 to 100 dollars for a hybrid iem that has bad drivers . So 150 bucks I can go with 1 driver. Above 150, 2 drivers and so on
That's a fair assesment , but one I don't totally subscribe too. Give you an example ...the Oxygen driver costs 6 USD....Oxygen price 279. But yes I can understand and respect what you say.
@akros9333 well. Let me put in a different way. 10 years ago,All iem margin was around 500% margin. All of them. I recall buying a UE iem 20 years ago for 2.500 dollars that the drivers was crap. Same as microwave in 1950 was 3.500 dollars and now you can buy 1 for 100 dollars with a 1000wt power. This last 3 years we seen companies, or better chifi place the ROI 400% less in the return. Oxigen iem when come out the prices was much higher and the technology of the driver was less. Now the hbb set that has the same driver as the oxygen is a iem with a price below as we see. Diffence tuning because of the driver filter, yes. Different handle of the driver in the noozle, yes changes the sound but not the price.as new drivers are been build the old ones lower the price like every new upgraded product, so in this days with the price set of the iem and the current price of the iem, I say below 100 bucks we better off with a single dd driver than a multi driver set. Other example . The 7hz sonus that everyone praises, great sound driver until reaches the loud volumes. Then the driver can't handle. That's how I listen good drivers, how they handle at high air compression volumes . But a meat iem I can boost the volume at to max and its fine. I alleats read in the boxes of iem the max Watts capacity. Best drivers says max 5 mw. And that's a crazy volume for an iem to handle. A 1mw max driver I know I will have issues at max sounds .
