The first thing that flashed in my mind is Leonard mambo mbotela and Omuga kabisae of the famous Idhaa ya kiswahili. Back then when you hear these tunes you know so well it's about lunchtime. You would almost start feeling the aromatic smell of fresh stew with flavours of Royco mchuzi spices luring you to the dinning table. It's a shame that these type of songs are not valued that much when in real sense they are treasures that define the true taste of Kenyan music.
I started listening to this mix when I was heading for work and i am back in the house right now but yoh it's still on replay... gives me memories of my late dad, he really played this jams on his phonograph 💯💯💯
