Girl here to comment about the thing of boundaries!! People get extremely insulted when you exercise them which is so ridiculous. I’ve realised us a people (Zimbabweans) we are always trying to gauge how the other person is doing and comparing where they’re at with where you’re at and that’s why people are always audacious enough to ask the uncomfortable questions that cross the line. On a good day I just lie now🤣🤣because I know what they’re collecting is for gossip so I enjoy the thought of sowing confusing stories BUT on a serious note you did great and I agree with Mr Husband that next time also ask THEM invasive questions. Stand firm! Love the vlogs, they really helped me transition back home. See you two living a comfortable life made me certain it wouldn’t be all gloom when I move home to start a new chapter of my life with my future husband. Stay blessed and continue being a good example of young, healthy, Godly marriage!❤

🥹🥹🥹 So glad, honoured and grateful to hear this from you. It’s more than just vibes for us, but a genuine desire to impact others in whatever small way… so to have you say this is just so humbling. Thank you! I used to watch content from couples when I was single, and I think I learnt so much from what I saw and it’s helping me now. I got to learn what to expect and what all this stuff may look like at a certain point. So even though you’re not married YET, the vlogs are somewhat mental prep for some of the things you’ll get to see in your own walk as a young married person. Not every marriage is the same, but we all have to build something. Praying for you to not settle, and to enjoy the blessings of your marriage when the season is here. ❤️ God is faithful

Girl, I feel you! I feel its something in how we were raised. Most of us were just raised to be diplomatic about things but not really draw the line and communicate the boundary. As a result, we find it so so so hard to voice it when we are uncomfortable because we do not want to be labelled or mis-judged. But, we move and we break free! 🥂🥂

Intrusive questions make me soo uncomfortable I hate them, and I end up lying which makes me feel worse coz now I'm sinning unnecessarily because some pple just dont know how to mind their own business, I genuinely need a proper lesson on how to draw boundaries and enforce them 😢

Honestly, I get you. Like, please, stop making me lie and grieving my conscience. I used to feel bad for drawing the line… like argh, maybe I should’ve just evaded the question and changed the topic but some people just don’t get it. Probably a starting point is convincing yourself and re-learning that you don’t owe people explanations esp when you’d prefer to not share. If you believe it, then it’ll be easier to communicate. After you’re grounded in what you stand for, it’ll be easier to communicate your boundaries firmly. Politely, but firmly. I didn’t do justice to the issue, but I’m sure there’s some therapist out there on Google with free resources to help with boundaries and communicating them. Don’t forget to look those up.

I have a childhood friend (male) who was always in competition with me. I guess he always wants praise but lately every conversation is are you pregnant, why are you not pregnant, is it because you have a career but mari hayikwani even when I tell him its because I dont want to. He texted again about the issue and I went off on him. I told him nah fam, you cant be this daft and insensitive. What do want to do with that information. I was 8 months pregnant but I wanted it to be my moment , enjoy it with my husband and family.

@natashabeverleyzinyama6902 I agree. I think that’s something you’ll master as you go. The first step is probably mustering the courage to draw the line. Boundaries can be communicated softly but sternly, and I’m sure you’ll be able to do that. Next time you find yourself in an awkward situation like that one, just remember you said you’d work on communicating your boundaries. You’ve got this 😎🙌🏾
