I am a Somali from Somalia and i would like to first thank the Somali team (Ocean stars) for the great effort they put in. Well done boys. Let's learn from this and improve. That late 3rd goal shocked us, it was really heartbreaking, but we'll come back stronger for the next Worl-cup qualifiers, 2026. And remember one thing, for sure: these Somali lions will be defenitely seen in the next African Cup of nations tournament in 2021 (I don't now where it will be held though) and beyond. We are very proud of our young talented players. They just need a bit more tactical skills, physical strength and improvement of their team cohesion on pitch, what we call in Somali (isla jaan-qaadid ama jaanta isla helaan). But they've got the mentality with capital "M" and Spirit; what an unforgetable day!!!. Congrats to Zimbabwe BTW.
Congratulations Zimbabwe for going through the qualifying stages nevertheless Somalia proved that they are force to be reckoned with. We shall take a note from this experience and make a splendid come back in future tournaments . For now wishing the Zims a goodluck for the future

FIFA should come up with a different system, there are many teams that just play a couple of matches and then they will say goodbye to World Cup ticket, this keeps them from growing, having more opportunities and experiencing top level football.
This is a disgrace to us Zimbabweans. We're struggling with Somalia and yet we've beaten almost every country in Africa before eg Cameroon, Egypt, Ghana, Senegal and Algeria. What on earth are we doing? Even our under 23 team is supposed to beat Somalia home and away. We need a very big improvement🇿🇼🇿🇼🇿🇼
