Osama is way better than Zaroon. In practical life men like zaroon are toxic to live with. Osama is mature and composed and honest . Zaroon was a play boy once and equally hypocrite when it comes to his family and at same he used to hate Kashaf for being conservative

According to your thoughts, kasaf is also wrong by marrying zaroon (in future if you have watched it already) because kasaf's personality and lifestyle is completely different from zaroon's lifestyle.

@@Qui_sait.. I've watched this drama several times. It's a product of its time no doubt. I found it really inspiring when it aired on tv back in 2012 but now the more I watch it the more flaws I see. In regards to Kashaf, yes her lifestyle is completely different to Zaroon's lifestyle but the difference between Kashaf and Asmara is that Kashaf was raised in a conservative (so to speak) manner which matches Zaroon's ideals. Although Zaroon isn't the type of man that Kashaf preferred, she was willing to give him a chance because he was the first to protect her from harm (by protecting her hand from being burnt by the chaii). In their case, it wasn't more so lifestyle differences, rather it was Kashaf becoming willing to give a man and marriage a chance because of this one action by Zaroon. She was willing to set aside her ideals and her beliefs because she wanted to believe that maybe she could have a happy married life too. One that every human being deserves, regardless of gender.

@@pandaaaaa4 I repeatedly watched this show... I didn't care to keep track of how frequently I watched this show because I simply enjoyed it when it first aired in 2012. However, I don't think that every person's conservative thinking is the result of their family, finances, or environment. That may be the case for Kasaf's character, but it doesn't apply to Zaroon because he has access to everything that could make him an open-minded person, yet he still managed to develop conservative thinking. Although I am not familiar with your beliefs, I personally believe in destiny. If someone or something is predetermined for you, you have to embrace it or else it cannot be changed. In Zaroon's instance, Kasaf's name was written as his wife, therefore he received it. I initially believed Kasaf would reject Zaroon's proposal, but she did so because the universe was working behind the scenes to change her mind, thanks to an event called the Chaii incident. In the end, everything worked out, and they got married. However, in Sara's case, it was predicted that her first marriage would teach her the greatest lesson in life. As a result, she took the advice to heart and was given another chance to start over by wedding someone better suited for her. If Sara never takes this advice seriously, she may lose the second person who is right for her again. However, if fate or the universe were on her side, her first marriage might still succeed. The same is true for Zaroon's parents; their marriage was meant to continue forever, therefore his father made sacrifices at every turn to make it work; as a result, it is successful. Their bond was not different from the first marriage of their daughter's. They could have chosen to go in different directions by simply getting a divorce, but they didn't since their fate did not allow them to do so. Therefore in conclusion, you cannot change something that has already been written to happen. I believe that fate determines which forces will unite two individuals because, while sometimes people with similar backgrounds make ideal partners, other times, people with similar personalities are repulsive to one another. Sometimes opposites attract and work perfectly, but other times opposites worsen the relationship between two people. Therefore, how things turn out is solely determined by fate. Sometimes people are merely meant to be your friends, while other times they are meant to become your family. The same happend with Zaroon and Kasaf.

I agree. Many south Asian/desi fathers don't take part in actively raising and understanding their children. And when issues arise, the blame is on the mother. Fathers are just as equal of a parent as a mother and its their responsibility to raise children too. They say it takes a village to raise a child, and yet the one person that children need in their lives to become successful is barely there. They reap the good but are absent for the bad.

It's not about being a mother or father here. The only picture shown here is the father has a personality that can tolerate if his wife goes on foreign trips without informing. Here we can see that both daughter and son had the same upbringing environment but Zaroon has different personality and so other husband's out there every person is not like Zaroons father who can compromise . The father is just trying to show the mother reality here that the daughter's personality is inspired by her mother

No. It's not basic right of the man. It's the base of a relationship to be courteous both ways. He is a hypocrite because he admitted he had so many girlfriends and didn't allow her to hang with the guys. He is weak and insecure because he himself objectifies women so he thinks all men do that.

thats not protective. They literally show him flirt with girls and then get angry with Asmara for being around friends, come home late then get angry with his sister for coming at the same time - the characters around him repeatedly call him out for his double standards and hypocritical behaviour and thats why nobody in his circle takes him seriously. and Zaroon repeatedly says to him 'thats not what I mean' because he can't come to term with his own hypocrisy. Either that or straight up admits that he can do it cause hes a guy.
