The story revolves around the lives of Kashaf Murtaza and Zaroon Junaid. Kashaf, a young woman raised by a single mother, faces a lot of class and gender bias while growing up. However, her life turns around when she meets Zaroon in college. The drama then shows the ups and downs and trials and tribulations faced in every marriage in the most beautiful way!

Zaroon, an egoistic man child. Kashaf has been trying her best in this relationship, while Zaroon despite of his unfair tantrums has been acting like a victim unnecessarily.

I agree. Zaroon never fully takes responsibility for his actions, he keeps putting the blame on others. From beginning to end Zaroon never changed. He kept insisting that he changed but in reality he never did but Kashaf did change in the end. Zaroon never made any effort to change since he didn’t see any issues with himself

Yea correct, it is not her “fardh”. Zaroon’s character is an idiot to have said “yeh uska farz hai” Lol Farz nahi hai. He doesn’t pray 5 times in this show and has no ilm abt any authentic islamic rules per se. but he is a good person indeed :) It is a courtesy and favour that the girl takes extra effort for husband’s family. She isn’t OBLIGED to. It’s not a compulsory duty. It’s Not mandatory. Allaah سبحانه وتعالى did not make it compulsory or a fardh. But If she still takes care of them, then she is doing a good deed for which Allaah shall reward In sha Allaah. Any woman. And same rule applies for a man for his wife’s family.

That is really so hypocrite of Zaroon. He himself is meeting his ex fiancé but when it comes to Osama proposing Kashaf that too before their marriage, he is creating unnecessary issues. Both of the main characters seem to be so flawed to me. Supporting roles like Kashaf’s mother and sisters and Zaroon’s father and sir are way more powerful.

Those who r saying zaroon is a red flag shud learn the meaning of it first. He is imperfectly flawed we can say not an ideal husband at all a hypocrite aswell. There are certain categories before being called a red flag. The word is misused hugely. This drama is trying to highlight many marital issues and portraying that no one is perfect, not even kashaf. Unfortunately, this is a bitter reality that this drama is showing where asians live in a male dominated patriarchal society, so zaroon is made to depict that. Also it highlights the difference between feminism and pseudo feminism.
