Zinnia’s small lace part is a new feature I’ve never seen before. Thank you, Beth, for expressing your honest opinion in this review. I agree that it would have been great if the lace went right across the hairline or opened the part more. Both style and color are very pretty.
Zinnia is a pretty style & the color is beautiful. Thank you for being open & honest with us. I DO NOT like the mini lace features that were seeing lately. Either give us a basic cap or a full lace front and/or part😐 I think these manufacturers are “gaming” us!! You did make it work though🤗 You are the BEST at styling wigs!! If you can’t fix it - it CAN’T be fixed😂😂😂

It does say right on the description that is a micro lace front, plus it’s heat friendly so you can apply heat to get it to lay flat in that area. I have one by Ellen Willie that has partial lace part like that and it does really well. I also think I would thin out the heavy side, with thinning shears, if you wear it off to the side and it would make all the difference in the world. I wish they would make all their wigs in vanilla swirl. I guarantee you she would have so many people buying because there’s many that can’t wear these warm colors like me.
It does now but initially it was listed as a lace part and in my excitement for the new style I misread it thinking it was a lace front like Heidi! I have added layers to the wig as I said and showed in the video if you watch yo the end. It’s a pretty style but I would prefer a full lace front, I don’t like the micro lace. I go know that they are expanding vanilla swirl to more styles. 🩷🤗
So funny. I wanted to see you do a review and I told myself you weren't going to... Actually I was interested in getting it because my mother-in-laws name was Zinnia... and it;s a versa fiber so they are usually more comfortable and I could play with it IF I wanted to... and.......it's in that color I love 12/28/6 and there aren't that many wigs in that beautiful shade. I love it and I do wear center parts (more now than I used to) and want a similar style. Actually it reminds me of the Leading Lady in ways... what I thought the Leading Lady Long would look like but didn't. While I get compliments, I just don't wear the Leading Lady Long and was thinking of trying to trim it down some. This looks much the way I wanted the Leading Lady Long to look like and so thank you for your honesty and an ability to laugh at yourself... we all need that more :)

Thank you for reviewing the Zinnia wig, Beth. I was wondering what the micro lace part meant, and now that I have seen it, I will definitely not be ordering that wig. Why did Paula Young even bother with that teeny little thing that as virtually no use. There are so many other great styles/caps to chose from. Of course, you made it look beautiful, but I would just get Flower instead, because the mono top looks amazingly realistic. Thank you for your honesty and time in putting together this review.

appreciate your honesty beth. ive been so hopeful then discouraged with paula young. i have one i really like and even bought a second of the same but then the next FOUR were very poor quality and flawed/ damaged and returned . still waiting for refund😢.

Wait I have a quetion. Brandy is a Micro Part... Juno has the Lace Crown (which I kind of feel like this is useless... personally) so the lace whatever it's called (losing track) is to me perhaps better as it's seen... ..........vs the lace crown only seen by someone way taller than me! Being silly but do you know what I mean?
Yes, I know what you mean. I think some make it hand tied lace at the crown so it looks like it’s more naturally growing hair but I do agree that I would prefer just a lace front or lace with a full mono top! 💞😊👍
Well done and HONESTY is so appreciated! I’ve been looking at Zinnia and I’m saddened by the fact that PY shows the model wearing Vanilla Swirl rooted but is isn’t offered in the color choices. Maybe the stock photo should be changed OR a DISCLAIMER posted in ALL CAPS that it’s not going to be available in this color. Like you, I’m not getting that “itty-bitty-lace- ditty!” Loved your new “motorized” fur babies and names! Would love to have them in my collection!! ☺️👏 Well, currently I only have one, but I did have 3 at one time! The lace on that does not make sense. It looks good when you part it on the side. Wouldn't be something I would buy. And I probably would email or call a complaint about the lace.
It’s not just Paula Young, all brands do this. It should help the wig look more natural at the hairline which it does if you pull it down and wear it in the center as intended. That just isn’t my preferred style. 💛😊
@@BethsBestHair I have a small widows peak. Small but often it would show on a wig without any mini micro lace. It never looked bad on the Leading Lady and yet sometimes the lace front is too much for me. Just my thought
