To be fair, he's giving up something like 75 pounds to Jokic. There's just no way he's going to outmuscle him down low, and Jokic still has plenty of inside moves on top of that, to get Wemby out of position to defend.

Wemby has a HIGHER true shooting percentage than Steph since Jan 1st, all while being one of the most dominant defenders in the NBA! Absolute insanity! To add to that Wemby is the first rookie with 200 blocks in a season since Tim Duncan in 1997-98 👏

Honestly, his body type is a lot like Kareem's--more lithe and agile than brutish, although Kareem was obviously strong as hell and muscular from doing martial arts. If Wemby developed a sky hook as a go-to shot like Kareem did, he really would be unstoppable on offense.

Pelicans played 66 games this season so far and Zion has been in 55 of them. He's on pace to play about 70 games this season, the most in a season for his whole career. Yeah he missed lots of games in previous years and even a whole season, but you have to watch the game as it's happening. That man is on the floor and he's showing what he can do.
