Yeah I have had a couple, the older ones are way better but they do go empty so dam quick it drives me nuts. But I never had issues with the regulator flame thing, although after a little while mine all stopped sparking up consistently
@@perfectjays readjust the piezo , clean unclog the lighter, bleed it of all air/old butane, then fill it with a high quality butane like colibri for 6 to 10 seconds, let it rest for about 2 to 5 minutes and it should light just fine
I bought one since they are a good price, really happy with it but you do have to keep them filled with butane pretty often they run out of fuel in less than a week but that’s regular with these kind of flame
Its cool but i prefer the real zippo. If you have a lighter fluid version its good to put it in a small plastic bag and make sure to wrap the plastic around the hinge area that way you dont need to refill it much.
@@SaveNature- I’m an avid cigar smoker, I know you didn’t ask, apologies. However, I want to mention I adore zippo. And I know you didn’t ask that either. Again, however, Zippos butane insert is poor. You can refill it yes, but it runs out quick. Might I suggest Z-Plus single Torch insert. Or, if you want the double flame, Vertigo’s Duel Torch insert is better. Vertigo’s Duel torch also comes together, to make a stronger point unlike the one in the video.
I have one with a smaller blue flame. It lasts so much longer than the original lighter and is way more reliable in wind. Still, it's probably not the best for smokers. I lent my lighter twice and each time, they burnt their nose!
I bought the zippo brand insert for the double flame just like that loved it but problem is 3 lights is about all you get before you have to refill it so needless to say it barely ever gets used
@@mattix5160 we’ll all zippo inserts stick out a little bit but sometimes they can get loose so to combat this you can try to take the insert out and squeeze the sides until it’s tighter not a permanent solution tho
I see nobody has answered you - yes it is. You just need to be careful you don't buy a 'slim' case - but the insert fits all regular cases. Beware though - like a normal zippo - it seems like it needs constant refueling.
1. purge the lighter fully 2. put in minimum 5x refined butane. (if it is regular butane from a hardware store it will destroy the lighter) 3. put the tip of the butane fuel into the top of the jet and spray butane into opening to blow any clog out. wait a few min for lighter to cool and try lighter. Also, make sure flame isnt set too high. The flame in this video is way to high for cigars unless you are trying to scorch them.
If you have a gasoline Zippo put it in a small plastic bag and make sure you wrap it around the hinge. That way it can last a long time. I filled mine up a month ago and it still works now but if I don't wrap it the liquid evaporates out in a few days
