Then nobody blinked an eye when Eric Adams said his favorite concert was the one where lights fell on Curtis Mayfield on stage and paralyzed him. What about standing with our brothers and sisters in Palestine who are living the world's largest open air prison, constantly being evicted from their homes and made homeless / having their homes bombed, being abused and killed by IDF soldiers in some cases for literally nothing? And the list goes on. (there's video of IDF soldiers laughing and cheering while sniping and killing people including literal children ! Just because they were doing s peaceful protest holding up Palestinian flags at the border) Israel has killed WAY more Palestinians then the other way around. They have way more resources, way more power. And continue to think it's justifiable to murder someone for the crime of throwing a rock, after that persons family has been oppressed and killed by the IDF. Why are so many American politicians that try to be woke completely on the side of the oppression in this situation?? This is one of the only issues that I see so many people on the left siding with the right on & it makes no sense. Is it the fear of being seen as anti semitic for criticizing anything Israel does? Is it genuine confusion because of the medias completely false reporting on this issue ? Is it racism and hatred for Arab people? Is it turning a blind eye in favor of the US being an ally of Israel? I do not understand. If any other country was doing what Israel is doing it would be everywhere !! Yes what Russia is doing is terrible but the way people stand up for Ukraine vs how people treat Palestinians is so sad. The atrocities that have been committed in this genocide of the Palestinians, this illegal occupation with the goal of killing off all Palestinians, is so great that I cannot even begin to list all of the human rights violations. Instead of focusing on how one resistance group in Palestine REacts why don't we focus on how Israel acts?? And why SOME Palestinian people feel violence is the only way to get Israel to leave them to live in peace and have a right to their land??? They have tried everything else for years and many Palestinians STILL are trying to fight for their land and freedom without violence. But they just wanna focus on talking about Hamas and not on what Isreal has done to cause it. For fucks sake they kill journalists. They even recently killed an American Christian journalist and disrupted her funeral. Where are all the American Christians standing up for her????
