Is there a way to not have the FPs drop to like 60 when shit goes nutty with mobs? Is there a certain setting to put on low?

My heart and mind are fighting each other,more than exarch and eater, between supporting ggg because I love poe and want poe2 to be huge and saving my money because it’s just cosmetics… if only it could be seen as investment and have some sort of tax reduction or something x)

i like the new mtx stuff too but like with the blood set really opens the door for p2w shenanigans.

no, need to make a new MTX slot for special effects and have it go there, would hate to listed my golden character effect to gain floating.

I wonder if it's related to extra work rigging armors to the new floating stance or if there's literally no reason not to.

Or just put it as an option with wings MTX. I have so many wings, none of them can float. It’s kinda dumb and greedy on the developers’ side.

Well, I say - look at your IG time... is it more than 1000hrs ? 480 : 1000 = 0,5usd per hour of fun ? Do you plan on spending more time IG ? What is the problem then.... what other f2p game can offer the same ? I appreciate their work and I also do not usually pay, especially when I am being forced to.... but in regards to situation around ARPG, f.e. D4, etc... I simply bought the pack and I am happy about it.

started playing in 2018 and i never made it to maps until this league. The amount of content and choice there is in what you can do to obtain power is insane as a former wow player. I happily spent 140$ on packs this league and i hate spending money on games. I wish i made it to maps along time ago so i had older packs 😭

If you don’t mind, how do supporter packs work I’ve never bought one before but the cosmetics look interesting in this video .

@@thetruestar6348 you just pay for it on the website and it all goes to your account. If you have steam you just gotta link the account before you do it other than that it all gets delivered. If you buy the higher tier stuff it'll take you to a screen where you tell them your sizes or you can opt out of physical stuff for more points.

@@thetruestar6348 usually they give the same points as if you're buying just the points. If you're planning to buy the higher tier ones but don't have the money yet, you can buy the cheaper one and upgrade later to a higher one. It'll deduct the amount you already paid with the one you have. Just make sure its also the core supporter pack and not the league supporter pack.

@@DELTA9XTC yea I think you can only upgrade within the set of packs. If they change it to the new ones, it will not count already.

@@zahdorfi8213 one of PoE's biggest problems is visual clarity. The meta doesn't matter. What skills are currently strong or not doesn't matter because the meta will always shift. What is strong now might be weak next patch so arguing that something isn't a clear advantage just because it's currently not meta is dumb. It's not about the meta and neither I or Ziz said that this is currently a big problem. Heck, both of us bought the 500 dollars supporter packet. We are pointing out that an MTX gives you an easier time to see you being out of Cooldown, and very much so. It's not a big deal but it's a clear advantage, even if it's small. It wouldn't take much to make the complain go away by providing free alternatives for that issue, just like they did with the mouse cursors. The reasons why we are pointing it out now is because it's always better to point it out as quick as possible, otherwise, you might end up with the horse armor situation and going away from that is much harder than just noticing the problem now and giving good and easy alternatives alongside it. Everyone benefits from it and it's much easier to do now and not later

@Zahdorfi so a friend recently got into the game and said is it pay to win and I said no but if you play enough it feels really nice if you spend (local equivalent of) $20 on the currency stash tabs and some other ones and another $40 for drip if you want

For the portals u can toggle them kinda u can make them randomise every time u open one or have them all be different

I would prob say that the previous league was maybe not that good money-wise and GGG has to bring now some stuff out that for sure makes money. And I am glad that they do those packs now that are more than "I am just a new burning body Armour".

480$ = 40$ every month = annual subscriptions of three different streaming service = monthly subscription to the Financial Times or Bloomberg. I' m not buying it until PoE2. I wish others would do the same but can' t control other wallets

@@Account.for.Comment If they enjoy the game in the current state, which it seems like a lot of people are, then why not spend money? Always tell people to vote with their wallets, that also means supporting when something good happens, not just cut cut cut all the time.

​@@justespelund This is what I called Anchoring. Of course, it is a lot more fun when you can put it an orb of alchemy into your map and not worry about Archnemesis. Does not stop the reduction of built diversity, the overreliance on gears (designed to waste your times) for any build other than the leaguestarter (so that you waste time first grinding for currency for the build you want), the lack of real crafting in favor of gambling (also designed to waste your time). It has been ten years and the games had improved tremendously in some area, and absolutely declined in others. I' m very much a cynical person now and I'm convinced that the lack of Qol and annoying gameplay mechanics are intentional. Archnemesis is a step too far, too many people left, so Chris force the removal of AN and came up with these beautiful packs, to convice players to ignore some of the other long term complaints. By all means spend your money if you want. I already spend more than enough these three months since my return. If PoE2, is good enough, I might be playing it. If it still has the same grind speed, I cut my losses.

You can sort of do that by buying the cheaper ones first, it deducts the total amount for the next in line. So buying the 240 USD one will make the final one only cost 240 USD when you have money to buy it.

@@handlerone5172 this doesn’t change the full cost, however, which is fairly extreme (unless you play 1k+ hours a year). It’s justifiable for some but that doesn’t make it affordable for most

To be fair it’s only if you have the armor because it’s themed so I’m fine with it, could be cool to have other armors slightly change items etc but I would kinda suck if they said oh now you can buy skins for the dropped currencies

I mean, I doubt you are even able to see the effect when it really matters with all the chaos thats is typically on screen in this game

from our understanding currently, because PoE2 is going to be in the same game, all cosmetics will be usable in PoE2, heck, PoE2 is just a fancy way of saying its going to be the 4.0 update of the game. Therefore, especially since we know the current campaign will still exist as the endgame will coenside, and you'll be able to transfer items between poe 1 and 2 in the endgame via trade, the cosmetics *should* all work as well.

i think its more like you buy that if you actually want to support them and show other studios that it is posible to run a non p2w game in todays zeitgeist obviously bc the cosmetics are dope as fuck is a reason as well, also you get the normal amount of points you would get if you had bought them straight without any packs and cosmetics. so you get all cosmetics and tons of points to buy more cosmetics/stash tabs etc

straight facts...all these simps talking about spending money are embarrassing, but when you don't care about having a girl or saving money or eating good food you buy dumb stuff like this...if only the visual clarity and balance issues and player retention for this game were given as much attention as garbage cosmetics

Programming and designing are two different parts. One doesnt hinder the other.

​@@johncenashi5117 exactly, the teams are already hired, just that design probably has a much easier time making decisions and evolving their craft. Meanwhile gameplay decisions, there evolution is pretty... unclear, any decision is questioned and tested, there's never an immediate visual moment where you can say that looks bonkers. And gameplay decisions have butterfly effects, they never affect only one thing.
