Hi Gemelle and Kara! Thank you for the AWESOME video! What a fun and informative video! I did notice that the handlebar appears to be rotated 360 from center. Notice the cables at the front of the bike. In the ideal riding setup, they should stick out from the front of the bike (like a belly ;-). In the video, they look to be wrapped around the bike's headtube. From the video, it looks like if you turned the handlebar 360 degrees counter-clockwise, that should take care of the cables! Keep the great videos coming, Kara! Tony
Thanks Tony for watching our video! My girls are so excited you watched them and left a comment! We appreciate the tip on the handlebar. We will be creating a follow-up video now that our 2nd Zizzo bike just arrived. We love our bikes and Zizzo!
I've had my eye on this folding bike for about a year now. I own a compact car and this little miracle would fit perfectly into the back seat. They come in black, forrest green, and a salmon kinda color. The max rider weight is 300lbs which makes this folding bike stand out above the rest. My wife and I miss riding bikes because we gave ours away to people that needed them more. I plan on buying one of these bikes soon, but I'm just waiting for the weather to get warmer here in Missouri. Anyone looking for a durable well constructed folding bike that can hold a rider of near 300lbs should look no further than the Forte'.. Many thanks for shedding light on this bike. Ride on and have fun! 😁
Thanks for watching our video! We researched many foldable bikes before putting our money on this one. It's really the perfect bike for everyone in the family. Compact, user-friendly, a total workhorse!
Excellent. Since most people want it to fit in their trunk, maybe next time you can show it in your trunk so we can estimate from the make of the car how it would fit in ours.
Same, just today - decided my husband and I need another excuse to do something fun together ANNNNNNNND... I can use it when the car is in use to ride to the gym in May (yay Vaccinations!)! Just very stoked!!!!! What do you think of the bikes so far if you’ve gotten them of course! :)
When you do a video, please know what you are doing. The bike is not folding properly. You did not up the kick stand. And you have to rotate the crank arm to the correct angle. What you did could damage the bike when store in the trunk. I am the owner of two zizzo.
The owner of Zizzo Bike complimented all my Zizzo videos. Plus no one is measuring with a ruler on the angle and I don't need to kick up the kickstand when I unfolded it immediately. Since you own 2 Zizzo. bikes, make your own video, instead of bashing on others.
@@GemelleChannel You don't need to measure. If you don't put the crank arm in correct angle, the magnet would not catch. And missing the kick stand was obvious. It is a must. Be that way, you will sorry sooner or later.
@@williamko4751 We've had these for over a year. The bikes are doing just fine. Kids ride them every day. Kids fold and unfold them every day. These bikes are for my kids. I do not micro-manage how they fold a bike. If a Zizzo bike can't handle kids, I wouldn't have bought them.
@@GemelleChannel Every folding bike has a proper way of folding. Even a $2000 Brompton. You will break a Brompton if you fold it wrong. Kids learn from you. You did not teach your kid the correct way in the beginning, and now you are defending your oversight.
Hi, I'm probably going to buy this bike based on this delightful little video you guys put together. Questions. 1 Is the weight manageable to pick up and take into the office, for example? 2 How is it going as of May 2021? 2a Enjoying the bike and 2b dealing with the pandemic? 3 What are your main gripes or cons about it? Cheers from Toronto.
Thanks for watching our video. The weight is manageable but generally, my husband picks it up. I could lift it at 29 pounds but I'd rather not ... it's the same concept when it comes to a stroller or wagon. Why pick it up when someone else can lift it? He has no issues. Cara my 12 year old loves it. My husband traded his mountain bike for this bike as well. The portability makes it so easy. Eventually she can always ride it to school. My only gripe is the weight. It is heavy at 29 pounds. There are lighter models out there. But this model is meant to be a work-horse and it can handle up to 300 pounds of weight. So I can't complain that it can carry my kid and all her textbooks when she returns to school.
What model is this bike? I like it how the handle bar can be adjusted to a lower height as I am short. I bought Zizzo 2019 Campo but it cannot adjust the handle bar.
@@charlenezhou3771 That's Cara. She got the bike for her 12th birthday. Cara was 4'11" at the time. Kay was 8 and she was 4'0" at that time. She can ride it too but had to be careful when going over speed bumps because the seat had to be adjusted to its lowest setting.
I was thinking of picking up 20” folding bags - do you think these would be necessary? We plan to store them in our apartment! Also... if you or anyone else has any smart accessories that really helped them when biking - that’d be cool to know too! Ie. A favorite bag for the rack or a water bottle holder or some sort? Even safety blinking lights or some such? :)
Glad you love your bikes. The folding bag is great if you plan on carrying them onto a bus. But they are heavy so definitely consider how far you’re going to carry. We purchased these portable bike locks from Zizzo. They fit perfectly on the bikes and they lock up the bikes folded or unfolded. It’s tricky to find accessories as the bikes still needs to fold with them attached. Zizzo’s website has a few suggestions.
Yes, I purchased mine late last year and it is my first ever folding bike, I’m very pleased with it and ride it almost everyday. I just ordered another Zizzo bike, it is a Forte too, but it is colored forest green
@@evanstonbalce9588 Hey, Evanston, can I ask, how far do you usually go on a standard ride? Would you consider it okay to take on public transit when folded up? Cheers from Toronto
@@ntr10me I can’t remember how far I can go riding a standard bike because I haven’t ridden that kind of bike for a long time. Yes, you can take a folded bike to a public transportation, I did that several times on a train
I just bought a gently used Citizen Miami 20" roughly two weeks ago. It rides great. Works perfectly. Shifting is smooth and so is the pedaling. I found that it's easier to pedal than the junk used MTB that I learned on. The Citizen is faster than the MTB because of how it's geared. I just haven't gotten the hang of folding and unfolding it. I need to because I live too far to bike to work, however I'm keeping it in my car to ride during my lunch hour.
Thanks for the review ladies. My wife and I collectively own three Zizzo folding bikes; two Urbano bikes and one (green) Forte. We use the Urbano bikes for general riding. I use the Forte to pull a trailer for shopping - well, that was before Covid. We can fit two of the Zizzos into the back of our Kia Soul by putting the back seat down. We love riding these bikes and also the convenience of not requiring a bike rack when they're folded and in our car. We also use the Forte on our indoor Zizzo trainer when its snowy or ice.
Thanks for watching our video. We are in love with our Zizzo Forte. We bought a 2nd one on Black Friday. We have plans for a 3rd one next year. After we sell our current bikes.
