When a Eurovision singer comes from Austria but sings completely in French but gets a standing ovation from the Swedish crowd for doing so. That’s the Europe I want to love! 🇪🇺🇦🇹🇫🇷
@@seren4740 Totally agree. Jurys make sometimes huge mistakes. But sometimes, televoters make big mistakes too. That's Eurovision. We can't always find rational reasons for curious results.
@@LadyArachnea That has maybe to do with the fact that she was at Lycée in Vienna so she is really familiar with French language and culture and therefore competitive in this aspect. The lyrics is not that strong, but the complete package is especially as it is not overcomplex. And the general status of music in Austria is still high which is not a disadvantage here.
There were, in my opinion, two the most beautiful songs in Eurovision: from Austria and Poland.I like to listen to these songs all the time :) And I sing it too :) Bravo Zoe !!!!
why not ??? je parle francais aussi et je suis de l'autriche do you know that joke: a cat was sitting in front of a hole with a mouse in it... after waiting long time the cat made: "wuff wuff wuff" ... and the mouse came out and the cat catched it and after eating it said: "oh i think, it's good to know some languages..."
Zöe is one of that artists that will make a lot of success after Eurovision. Right now is in the top dance charts in Italy with her new single "C'est la vie"
Lots of Austrians speak French, amazing about mainland Europe that so many people are bilingual, then in the UK they don’t bother to teach children languages properly 😂
@@oliviasteven1796 In Austria you are learning German and English either way, but in some school-types you have to choose a third language to learn, which is mostly French, Spanish, Italian or Latin, but I do think there are also dome more. But in each case, you are learning English in school.
1000 Dank an Österreich. Merci beaucoup !
I'm so happy that she got 8th at Televoting, this is one of those entries where I can't stop smiling :) It is so charming, she is a great singer and the french language adds s much to this
The Eurovision Song Contest wouldn't be the same without a french song. And now that France only does half french, it is awesome that Austria takes their place. I like the song:-)
I'm french & I live in Austria since over 15 years : I do swear I LOOOOOOOOOOVE This song & I love Zoë ! this is so sad that for the moment she has no new songs ..
Very beautiful song ;-) ...and this year the contest was one of the better since many years... Thanks to all the singers for this good moment...Music must be joy and peace...
honestly, this song was quite underrated this year. it has this cute child-like charm/innocence to it and zoe is really beautiful! and is it just me who thinks michal and zoe look like they were pulled right out of a fairytale?
This young lady is going to be an international star. Beautiful looking reminds me of Bridget Bardot in her heyday and very confident and professional for a 20-year-old. In my opinion, this song should have been the winner.
I only recently got into Eurovision in 2018 - I'm in the US - and have been looking at past participants. I was very surprised this song didn't do that well with the jurors but glad Zoe was liked by the public and the televote. Such a cute song and singer!
+Katharina then i think u can't speak french xD It's about a mental place where u can do whatever u want without getting hurt and it's secretly dedicated to the attack in paris etc.
+MagicMarky -- Naah, not buying it ;) I enjoy listening to this song because of its energy (and the violins!), but the lyrics are utterly uninspiring to me, borderline ditzy. Compare the lyrics to the French or the Polish entry - different league altogether.
This song makes me happy & made Eurovision so different. So happy a song. I can't stop listening this song. Big loves from *Türkiye* to *Österreich* . *TR❤AT*
She looks amazing. Looks and behaves modest but sexy , kind of medieval beauty, i can't explain it, but she is like reincarnation of some medieval queen . Anyway this song is outstanding
She is supposed to be a queen. If you listen to the text, it perfectly fits a wide-eyed Marie Antoinette shortly before leaving Vienna forever for her marriage with the French king in Paris.
Adore it :) Thank you Austria for sending such a cute song and such a talented singer. Very fresh and catchy. Also, such a good thing hearing more languages in ESC than just English. Good luck from Croatia :)
Me and my sister remember watching our first Eurovision in 2016 and we were 10 years old and we didn’t really like many of them until it finally went into Austria’s entry and we absolutely loved and we kept saying ‘je suis’ and laughing about it and still vividly remember us jumping on our sofa when Austria was awarded 200+ points. Since then, I had completely forgotten about it until now and I’m glad I’ve finally rediscovered it after ages!
Undoubtedly the best song in French ever heard at Eurovision in a long time.. and it comes from Austria!! Thank you Austria and Zoë for promoting French language much better than most of French speakers would.
Just because it's cute doesn't mean it wins anyway. But the jury voting was terrible when they put her 24/26 place. The televoters has saved her put her 8/26. The final result still hurt me that Zoë not in the top 10. Good job Austria for letting her represented your homeland 🇦🇹🇦🇹🇦🇹 🟥🟥🟥🟥🟥🟥🟥🟥🟥🟥 🟥🟥🟥🟥🟥🟥🟥🟥🟥🟥 ⬜⬜⬜⬜⬜⬜⬜⬜⬜⬜ ⬜⬜⬜⬜⬜⬜⬜⬜⬜⬜ 🟥🟥🟥🟥🟥🟥🟥🟥🟥🟥 🟥🟥🟥🟥🟥🟥🟥🟥🟥🟥
