The injuries and Covid really started causing doubt that carried over to all star break. We all thought we'd trade at least someone but we didnt. I think we should've to have a newer identity
@@NikoStark1 that’s your problem you think nets were a good team. But anyway they were 0-2 vs philly with lonzo they were 1-1 with Boston with him. They were 0-2 vs gs with him they were 0-2 vs bucks with him and 0-1 vs heat with him go look it up
The mental processing speed of Lonzo is at a whole nother level from everyone else. Paired with his ability to monitor where every player on the floor is at all times, makes this man dangerous on both sides of the court. The majority of the best plays this season had his fingerprints all over them. Can’t wait till next season!!!
Riddle me this with all that genius level brain speed how do he not see paths to the bucket? I mean he made a career low 1.5 buckets a game from inside the arc. And not it aint that pass-first excuse he avg a career low 5 ast a game...
@@I.am_Groot I suspect he knew his knee wasn’t 100% and was afraid of drawing extra contact or landing funny. But also, his midrange and finishing at the rim was pretty inefficient so maybe he chose to play to his strength rather than be a detriment to the team. I believe his assist average being so low had to do with playing with two very iso-heavy players in Demar and Zach.
@@JoeTheBlacksmith13 Lonzo is 6'6 with handles and won't drive the basket. Been that way for years. It is a pretty big hole in his game as he don't even avg 1 FT attempt a game. This 'mental advantage' stuff is big talk for a kid that only has a starting spot at this point because he got the jumper fixed and hits nice from outside. He does hustle on defense but dude not special like y'all claim he is.
@@I.am_Groot believe what you want, but stats aren’t everything. I watched every game he played and he was a major difference maker, even with a compromised knee. The Bulls were much worse off without him on the floor. Stats DO back that up.
@@JoeTheBlacksmith13 On a team like the Bulls where other players take up his offensive slack and draw enough defenders to keep him open from 3 he does pretty well. Not a PG but a good 3&d guard
When Lonzo was in the lineup the Bulls looked like the best team in the east and they were blowing teams out. And Lavine looks like a whole different player when Lonzo is playing - he cuts and runs the break because he know Lonzo will find him. His scoring was like top 5 during that stretch too. We need this man to be healthy.
Lonzo just brings the hustle and makes everyone want to run and catch a lob. His pocket passes are nice as well. He's always looking for the assist instead of most of these ball hogs just looking to stat pad.
Nothing I love more than watching Zo play - he's always full throttle on both sides of the ball, and he's got his own swagger, his own style, whenever he dribbles. On top of that, the passes are GORGEOUS - I'm not arguing that he's the goat playmaker, but the full-court and lob passes always look so effortless and just glide through the air. I didn't watch him in UCLA, only the highlights, but I'm happy to see him flourish, and I can't wait til he comes back. Hope the Bulls make the Finals 🔥
Needed all of this in that Bucks series! It’s a shame this season was just one injury after another. Hope he’s healthy and ready to play when the season starts💯
Lonzo is soo Damnn good and underrated! He’s not a score first PG he’s the true epitome of a PG getting your teammates involved and making them better with a healthy lonzo bulls were easily one of the best teams in the league
A transition god..I get that lamelo is the better flashier player overall..but lonzo will always have him on awareness and anticipation and i.q and defense
🔥How one player can change the whole team record. He make the entire team get out our and run because they Lonzo will pass it to them SMH He made devonte Greene and Jones look good. Bulls were in 1st place for a long time. Other teams celebrated when they beat the Bulls. It's going down next season|
@@MrDweeny Hornets announcer is for little kids. He's a grown man screaming like a chick. Kids need that energy. Adults respect and love Stacey King the most for being the perfect mix of energy and maturity
Zo is best when he is not thinking too much but playing naturally, that's how gifted he is. Players like him you have to let them be free to improvise. Most of the time, the IQ will allow Zo to make the right play.
Lonzo Always had a knack to make offenses look smoother because he is patient and a selfless PG with scorers in the starting lineup so he Gives them more chance to get to go out and run
It’s the lead passes on the fast break and even in the half court for me. It’s crazy that he isn’t even ball dominant as the majority of pass first guys in the league. If he was the primary facilitator every time he’s on the court he’d average 8-9 assists.
Love these highlights. Those were good times, and hopefully Giddey can be somewhat of a replacement for Zo. All love and respect though. Also, gotta mention how hilarious and amazing Stacey King is..haha love that guy!
Lonzo is a huge gamechanger. Hes not gonna run the halfcourt offense as much as I'd want but he's the best passer on the team, Best offensive rebounder, Best 3 point shooter, Best defender, and highest IQ, pushes the pace. This team misses Lonzo the most and there's a reason why hes ranked 2nd in box plus minus on the team... only 2nd to demar
The basketball Gods knew Lonzo Ball passing to Derozan, Lavine, the Carushow, Jones Jr. and Green was just too much joy in my life and decided to spite me..
If the Bulls add a knock down shooter and a solid power forward, they'd be a top 3 team in the East. They limped into 6th place this year due to injuries. They could have easily won 6 more games had they been healthy the whole time.
Zo was that key piece for this team. Like with a guy like that running the floor with all the scoring weapons we had this team was dangerous. Once he went down and it became the Demar iso show it was fun to watch but man it made me miss the hell outta Zo.
I will always firmly hold that Lonzo has the vision and passing ability to put him in the Luka, Jokic tier of playmakers had he 1) not worn BBBs 2) had gone to a team other than the lakers (the combo of pressure to perform right away and a coach in Walton who refused to utilize him well was bad) and 3) not played so much on that backyard blacktop growing up
When Zo was gearing up to throw the pass to Lavine, Luka already saw the play developing because of his basketball IQ, but he didnt make the effort to stop it. That’s the difference
Coaches cant even be mad sometimes. How do you account for someone that can make pinpoint, full-court, passes? Very few players in the league would even try it, and the defense has more likely things to account for.
