Ok lemme do a run down of value Door 1: a Christmas tree ornament probable store value $8 cost to produce let’s say $2.50 Door 2: glitter store value $1-2 cost to produce probably less than 20 cents Door 3: a star shaped cookie cutter store value $1 maybe production cost 20 cents Door 4: present stickers store value $1 cost to produc e 10 cents Door 5: the small pouch store value $3 production cost 75 cents Door 6: a small candle store value $5 (yes I’m aware it’s a fancy Zoella candle and probably retails for $15) production cost $3 Door 7: room spray retail value $10 production cost $2 Door 8: a pen retail $1 production cost 50 cents Door 9: a Pom Pom keychain retail $4 production cost 30 cents Door 10: ginger bread man retail $1 production cost 20 cents Door 11: notebook retail $0.50 production cost probably less than 10 cents Door 12: candle $8 (fancy Zoella candle again I get it $20) cost $4 If you see what I’m saying, these products are ridiculously cheap to make compared to the $60 price tag. Production value was most likely around $15 (13.85 to be exact) or £12.64(I hope that was the euro sign) let’s do some basic math, 60-15=45. That’s $45 profit. That means that this advent calendar was very very overpriced, also considering when you manufacture a lot of things the production cost goes down. Plus my guesses were probably off. And that’s just for the junk. I’ll give $5 for packaging and messed up calculations. That’s still $40 profit or £33.15. Yes, this was indeed a ripoff. Loved the video btw, just a bad price
