HQ STEREO Link : • ZOIDS - Wild Flowers (... ZOIDS: Chaotic Century ゾイド(1999) Japanese Opening Theme "Wild Flowers" Performed by RAMAR Lyrics by Yusuke Sakai Composed by Tetsuo Maruyama Arranged by RAMAR & Masanori Sasaji
In my childhood, when I first heard this (instrumental only), it starts during the end scenes of each episode in the English dub (well most episodes). Looking back, I missed listening to it and now I found it! I find this unique and I really like it!
Except Chaotic Century came nearly a decade after the first line of Zoids and had an actual story. A story that ignored the manga's trimuverate. The three sideded war that took place before CC would have made for an amazing anime.
Chaotic Century is underrated. I might be looking at it through rose tinted glasses, but I started watching it again after all these years and it's holding up pretty well.
The voice acting is a bit rough in some places but the same could be said about any dubbed anime at the time really. The 3d animation for the Zoids still holds up to this day though. I still wish we could get a really good Zoids game released here in the west
@@ZackRToler Zoids vs 2 was goood! a little glitchy, but I enjoyed it like a deer enjoys not getting eaten for one more day. I even kept replaying the story modes despite the really stupid limited-ammo missions
@Laylay Wow! They don't have the series on RU-vid anymore and I loved this series. Where'd you locate it?! If you can let me know I'd appreciate it. I'll download it from there.
Really wish it was on all platforms . this was under rated series. I remember getting up at 5am just watch 1 hour of this back to back on cartoon network
Sadly there isn't a good way to find it, at least not officially, no streaming service has it, and the DVDs are quite rare and will cost an arm and a leg... Though, at least 1 good9 anime streaming site has it if you're willing to pirate.
2021 and Zoids still remains one of if not the top anime in my favorites. There's always just a special place for it. The soundtrack, the story, the characters. Always brings a smile to my face when these tunes pop up
Hey there i am also a big fan of this anime when i was small... But i couldnt find the lyrics translation kf this song... Wonder what it means? I build over 25 models of within 4 years of watching it...
@@jeffreyy7748hey I know this is ages after you commented, but I thought I’d let you know someone else has posted the Japanese lyrics in a different comment. You can translate them with the button 👍🏻
I first watched this on Toonami so Wild Floweres wasnt the intro we got. But it always played during a critical moment and became the song of the series.
not to mention, this anime was created on 1998 if i am right, but the thing that shock me is that how did they make the 3D of the cartoon so nice, i didnt expect it to be that awsome because i though it was like going to be mario pixel there because u know it was still in the 90s century
kek. we had good CG by '98, on tv and in games (well, pre-rendered scenes in games anyway. well, some games. okay, not good, but fine). It was just very expensive. There was a TON of recycling, as I'm sure you noticed. Lots of repeated animations. And some models were being finished like RIGHT as the episode was being made, so they had to use placeholders.
Zoids is much older then this series, the first Zoids lines came out in 1981 under the name Mechabonica. The line failed but the models were later reintroduced under a new line renamed as Zoids in the US, i was first introduced to Zoids when the European Line Zoids2 was released here in Portugal... Can't believe i had an Ultrasaurus when i was little -_-
the dad of my grandfather was from Portugal...I always wanted to go there..is it nice? plus zoids have a special place in my heart as a kid before going to school I was waking up to this cartoons.
There's nothing wrong with that version lol I love that theme tbh. They play the acoustic version to this a lot in the episodes, so I don't really mind either one.
@@scottlematua4031, in almost all episodes tbh. It's the theme song when they're about to win, usually played at the end of the episode. The reason why I like the "ZOIDS! ZOIDS! ZOIDS!" opening song was because it was nostalgic. If I were to hear the Japanese song first and discover this alternate OP, I don't think I'll like it as much as I do now. I guess this is true for most US translations in the past, like the one that 4Kids did. Yu-Gi-Oh! is kinda cool, it'll grow on you, but if you knew some of the Japanese OPs, like WILD DRIVE, man I tell ya!
I watch Sonic Boom the TV series today on RU-vid. It's pretty darn good. But I loved Zoids Chaotic Century and season 2 of it, Zoids Chaotic Century: Guardian Force.
Brings back memories. If you get to pick one zoid and one only to pilot in real life everything is fully functional which one would it be? I would pick the death stinger because it's versatility and destructive power from long range to close combat. No zoid smaller or same size was capable of 1v1 or 3 in full condition and required a gravity cannon from the ultrasaurus to destroy it's core.
+XShadowzVarcolac I really loved the Blade Liger, but I might go for the Gun Sniper. It would be so fun to have zoid battles and just snipe someone from the top of a mountain haha.

Cool!!!!! I watched this in English when I was little and I can only find a couple of episodes in Japanese... I'll keep looking, though. If you know where I can find them, feel free to reply to this comment.
chaotic century and gurdian force is the best, but after that..new century, genesis and other went down..they should make a come back for chaotic century
