Yeah he’s an unique character and a funny one. He’s a zombie but he’s not evil like all the others and still has his humanity. He can also take more damage than the other characters. I just might play as him in my next playthrough.
I can see why’d you say that. He’s an awesome character who despite being dead he’s got a great personality and how the other playable characters care about him in their individual ways such as Werner borrowing Hector’s old English slang -“pip pip, Hector, old bean! We can do this, yes?” - which is freaking ADORABLE!! (Squee!) and how Hector does the same back. Also with Hector a wise man once said “to know your enemy you have to become your enemy” because that what he is, a zombie with his humanity intact and another perk of being a zombie must make great undercover work as Hector can easily blend into the crowd.
Jun. She has practically no weakness and her weaker melee actually works to her advantage when paired with divine blast so you can chain the healing from it with a takedown heal more easily.
@@arm7595 But Boris is slow which causes him to take damage more easily because he can't reposition too well. Better to not take damage and only use melee/takedowns to heal up when taking damage is absolutely unavoidable. But best girl is still Karl and his Occult outfit
Taking more melee damage is a weakness. So yes, she has one. A pretty important one id say. Since you will take melee damage pretty commonly through the game. Carl with the right perks is unbeatable. Explain why i often outsurvive most players even if theyre much higher rank than me.
Karl is mad. G43 and MP44 w/vampir scope and Webley for pistol, add vampirism, and as long as you get headshots and/or crits its very, very difficult to die 😅
Marie is my go to character, she almost has the speed of Jun and the increased elemental charges for the weapons makes her and the crossbow a magic combo :)
@@venturaraygoza6724 I generally use Survivor, Rejuvention, Stamina Defence, Enhanced Vigour and then switch between Vampirism and 2nd Chance for the 5th slot (all my perks are Gold)
Me, Karl is the face of the series, so it would be natural to go with him. With Werner (And wolf from the first game) it kinda feels empathetic/sympathetic to play, given they are Germans themselves, probably fighting zombies they knew as comrades, barely avoiding this ate themselves, and the latter stated to have family, which you can only hope is safe
I like Werner because of his personality, in mission 2 chapter 1 you can hear him (like me) get increasingly tired of Victor's shit. At the end of the day though, I like Karl the most. Unmatched with a sniper rifle, excellent empty lung stamina, "a 'to the point' kind of guy" who's better at picking off zombies from a distance? Even when things get up close and personal he's still a handy guy to have around.
Karl is my main guy cause I love to snipe and it's so satisfying to see zombies to gibs from a single shot with a sniper rifle. He becomes to overpowered when you give him sniper related perks like more rifle bullets, slows down the stamina when emptying lungs, heal for every headshot I do(works perfectly with vampire scopes) and my favorite reduce the number of kills for overkill. However I always use the perk that speeds up health regen to nullify his weakness. Survived alot waves with my build and felt unstoppable
Hector's existence raises some really twisty questions when you remember that Hitler's zombie hordes are explicitly only raised from the rotting remnants of Germany's native population, for propaganda if nothing else. Whilst the models in game are all shown to be the remnants of the Nazi army, it's at least implied that any German who died after the activation of the Relic was damned to come back as a hell-fueled zombie bent on the murder of all life. So that raises the question of how Hector was reanimated in the first place.
I am loving these diverse comments. No fighting, just people respecting another's opinion. Such a rare thing these days. Personally, my favorite is Werner, with Boris as a very close second
Gotta be Karl Fairburne, handy with a rifle and one of the best all around, love his new outfit, feels more comfortable to run and shoot esp on Dead Ahead with the right perks..
Since you asked for cross over characters, I would love to see Rogue Trooper in this game. That would be awesome! This game already had Rogue Trooper charms for the weapons. Why not the character next?
Werner, former Wehrmacht soldier, despising Hitler and just loyal to Germany, super fun to play, and he seems to be always relaxed, no matter what is happening :)
Best character? I haven't played enough of them to decide yet! Just on a conceptual level, though, I do enjoy Werner, who shares the "German patriot who has turned against Hitler's madness" backstory of fellow German PCs from the original trilogy, Wollf and Schweiger. Seriously, whatever happened to Wolff? Schweiger got downgraded to an NPC but at least he was a very plot pivotal one, which makes sense given his backstory from the original Trilogy, but all we've seen of Wolff are some costume references in Karl and Werner!
I like Jun the most. Give her the Webley. Then give her perks for more pistol ammo, brain buster frequency, brain buster targeting 6 zombies, vampirism, and revive. And you're left with a good character that's always healing and getting headshots. Also how do I get "dance 2" emote?

werner for best divine damage, best divine healing, and the storybeat of beaning the man that destroyed his home and literally dragged his people to hell in the skull
Theres a bug on the zepplin mission that's stopping me from progressing it's in the village of the undead part with the cable car, it says clear the area and theres no zombies left
You cant beat Werner for versatility tho he is more skill dependent but can destroy hordes. Tho he dose take more explosive damage but is mitigated by the skill of the player
Think like sniper elite 4 like FNAB-443 and MAB 38 and OVP M1918 and m1934 pistol and army pistol 38 times and Mannlich m1895 and Carcano m91/41 and Ross mark 3 and Swedish Mauser zh-29 and delisted carbine rifle
I main Hector because 1: He’s a badass gentleman zombie Soldier & 2: He’s really good at taking damage and solo runs Also use Maria for elemental builds
Just got this on PS Plus. Can we unlock all the weapons and characters eventually or do we have to buy everything? I’m not against supporting Rebellion but 2 season passes for 70 bucks or 3.99-6.99 per DLC is just ridiculous.

@@jessiegunther1079 exactly. Werner’s lore stats that he shot his Officer during a ritual. He was put in a penal legion for being loyal to his country and not to the cult. Imagine Zombie Army happening in real life. Soldiers watching as their officers, the ones who trained them, engage in rituals just to stay alive. Giving up on all that made them human. If Rebellion ever made Zombie Army 5. I would hope to see a better look at how the cult and Zombies impacted civilians and mental health
@@kremitontoast5344 Battle royale today is the most played mode on the entire planet! If the rebellion for this mode in sniper elite 5 would be interesting and would be new for everyone, there are several ways for her to think about a new battle royale mode for sniper elite 5
