Well you might need some food, water, shelter and warmth I mean do you expect somebody to fill their bags with knives during a zombie apocalypse, only knives?
yes, the clear pushrod with the rubber o ring, that is what the charcloth is for. a small piece goes into the end. the pressure from the push lights the cloth.

@Unbox Therapy, I just wanted to answer your question on why it is a non aspirin pain reliever. When you are feeling pain in a zombie apocalypse, chances are you are also bleeding from it. Aspirin actually prevents blood clots so, they gave you a pain reliever not made of aspirin so you can be relieved from pain but not also make the bleeding rate worse than what it is currently. :D
It is a non aspirin pain reliever because aspirin works by thinning your blood, which in the event of an injury makes it harder to stop the bleeding. You can imagine in a survival situation you dont want that in case you are wounded.
just in case you were wondering... Its important that it is a non-aspirin painkiller because aspirin is a blood thinner, if you cut yours and use an aspirin-based painkiller chances are your wound will take longer to coagulate and, if too severe, can lead to bleedout.
