Man.. hearing those old original songs always reminds me that Holo ID has gone through so many things.. Back when there's only gen 1 and the antis were trying to cancel them, Moona and her genmates were trying so hard to remain calm but then everything change all thanks to Gen 2 especially Ollie. And now we even got Gen 3 with another powerhouse, Kobo. As for Ollie, she really deserves the loves she got, if not, more. Her creativity, her sincerity for her fans has really inspired not only her viewers but everyone in Hololive including Holo ID members. I still don't get why people still sleepin on them. If you missed them, consider to give them a try, you won't regret it, every member is bloody talented and enjoyable to watch. Holo ID is all about quality over quantity
Ye I like Gen 1 more than Gen 2 actually. Moona's covers and originals are legit awesomeness, Risu's Shorts never fail to entertain me and her original is like one of the best original I ever heard from hololive so far, and Iofi's IoSalon stream is really2 interesting. I still don't know about Gen 3 cuz I think it's still too early to judge them, but I have to say, I have my eyes on Kobo.
@@jewzetto9492 Gen1 are the OGs that made it possible for the rest, gotta give them respect even if ID Gen 2 has my heart. Reine is amazing singer who looks and sounds like a mommy but is actually the dorkiest child. Anya is well…. Another amazing sing, now that everyone know about Risu, I think Anya is the most underrated singer in Hololive. Plus, the baby keris is cute as hell but she doesn’t take shit from NOBODYYYY! Finally, Ollie might not be as good of a singer as other Holomembers (no shade, Hololive is just stacked for singers) but damn if she didn’t PRACTICE really hard and this video is proof. Wonderful performances from start to finish. But when it comes to Ollie, our genki zombie is just LOVE. LOVE for the vtuber community, she representes us fan, all the good and the bad! That’s why I love her!
I just realized that Ollie's outfit changes from her idol outfit to her normal outfit at the very end with the 2nd part of id:entity, I keep noticing new stuff every time I watch it, it's honestly incredible.
The queen of simping doing what she can do best: sending love to her other senpai and companions. And there's more: Ollie has said that the sequence of the songs chosen is a portrait of her voyage in life, from SSS that hooked her on Hololive to the hype when entering, to the more somber moments, to finally being a true part of it.
She hits some awesome notes in the Mio section which you were kinda giving a speech through, so I hope you get to listen to it again without having to worry about recording.
I'm at the point that I'm listening to this every day. I simply love these renditions, and how she even put the boys in it. It's specially cute that she added the song she sang for Astel's birthday, since there's no official video of it. Ollie is just such a great person.
