You do realize that treyarch is the only reason we are able to make custom maps right? Also, the only reason treyarch didn’t do great with bo4 and Cold War is because Activsion forced them to help out other studios because the other studios are so dogshit. Cold War wasn’t even supposed to be a treyarch game. Same goes for vanguard zombies and MW3 zombies.
You guys calling that storyline boring just have no clue what Activsion has been doing to treyarch. Bo6 is the first treyarch game since bo3 that actually got a good amount of development time.
@49HEALTH cool well again I don't have faith in them especially with a garbage publisher behind them like Activision/Microsoft I'll save my time and money and play something more enjoyable than Scam of Duty. If I wanted to get scammed everytime I played a video game I'd just go to the casino at that point 😂
Something I enjoyed doing in IX was never opening any doors, and simply running around the starting room doing the challenges to get the pack a punched pistol
I feel the reason why we can't have those maps now is due to all of those maps taking place in the old storyline and they wouldn't want to mix that up with their boring dark ether storyline

It would be really nice to create a stand alone zombies game that has EVERY zombies map remastered but running a system similar to BO3, and it could have different tabs based on the storyline you want to play and choose a map in that storyline! Idk just something I think would be cool. It could also contain a campaign mode where you actually travel through all of the maps and play out the storyline!

You think other would fork $200 Now lea consider th space it would need for a stand alone game.50+ maps,multiple game modes and other aspects just to make it fill up the campaign and no portion.As well if they do a campaign it must be a separate story than the maps which would be such a tedious task
ZC2 was 100% planned for BO4 you can just see it plus on a alpha omega live stream they said “that might not be the last time you’ll see Ted” when they where talking about Ted being in Alpha Omega.
i mean yeah they havent made ZC2 because it was never finished. it was in production, the victis actors were brought along for it during bo4's life cycle. (misty's voice actor confirms this, before she deleted her post on instagram if i remember correctly) The assets were in bo4 in black out, tranzit bus, diner, half of buried. etc. but bo4's development was all over the place, plans didnt go through, the second season pass never came to be therefore no ZC2. Treyarch was being pulling mid dev cycle to take over sledgehammers next cod which then became treyarchs cold war. Which was also why cold war seemed like it was held together with bits of string. So yes, ZC2 technically didnt happen. But was it supposed to? Absolutely.

What I would love to see is a Zombies Only game which just features remasters of the Zombie Chronicles Maps, the Zombie Chronicles 2 Potential Maps that were mentioned in the video, the Black Ops 4 Maps, and if at all possible some of the community Maps like Leviathan be put into the game. I know that’s a stretch but dang it would be fun to just have them all (as well as some new ones) in the same place with the same engine
Now ask yourself how much are you paying for that. 2: what modes will it have and 3. You realize there will be no campaign nor multiplayer which is like 50% of the game.plus you have to write a story that fits in with the reasons as to why those maps are returning and connected without bro no in g up the old story

The possibility to release ZC2 in a older game being denied because of having another zombies game in the current year is arguably not the real reason. Because ZC2 was released during IW zombies life cycle. I guess releasing ZC2 in BO3 in the year of IW had sense, but for some other reason it didn't have sense to release ZC2 in CW during the Vanguard year
Bo3 was the game I grew up on I almost cry every time I think about my childhood but that was one of the few highlights of it. Bo3 the best game oat in my opinion
Said it once and I'll say it again. They should make a COD Zombies standalone game. Make it so you can play all maps ever made and make it so you can play that map as if it were in any game. EX: playing blood of the death but with BO2 guns, perk-a-colas, pathing AI, and hit mechanics EX: playing nacht der toten but with advanced warfare mechanics (Find a way to make it self evident it's noncannon by like naming these modes "experimental" or smth)
Yeah but then they can shut down the platform it stands on being BO3... It only exists because they allow it. Seach up what happened lately with the discounted Modern Warfare and the most popular mod coming out for that
Another youtuber said that transit (and maybe buried) were fully completed for BO4. And how the reason chronicles two didn't come out was due to 1. the Treyarch save for cold war 2. they didn't want to pay actors for MOTD, COTD, etc...
The maps i would want the most would be FIVE,call of the dead, Mob of the dead and buried those maps were my favorite 😌 and if they did remake a couple bo3 maps the only ones I would probably care about is shadows of evil
I know every said makes no sense but having a ZC2 on BO2 would make so much money, the DLC alone, the bundle with both DLC of ZC and people trying to play this for first time buying BO3. It's just money, even sacrificing the current CoD, just release this in sep and in 1 month they would see u.u
Well I hope that if bo6 does extremely well, than maybe just maybe activision might change their minds and forward the process of making and releasing zc2 and more BUT only if bo6 zombies carries extremely well with players through its run and doesn’t bring the failure of past iterations. But one can only hope, they had so long to perfect this mode for this coming game and it’ll definitely have its cons but I hope the good heavily outweighs the bad😭
It’s pretty clear to me that treyarch isn’t listening to the players who buy their games every year or players who play the older games because THEY ARE ACTUALLY FUN AND YES THE DARK AETHER STORYLINE IS BEYOND BORING
They 100% made it but Activision said no because the games weren’t received well and resources needed to be put elsewhere. Activision knows that ZC2 will sell no matter what and aren’t going to pull the trigger on it until they have a platform that they can make the most money on without impeding on other sales.

In the kronorium it says that the apoficons escaped in the Great War when humanity tampered with element 115, but once it was rediscovered in the original timeline how come they couldn’t invade that dimension and why would they not influence people like Richtofen and Samantha to free them. More than likely they did have it finished but the new zombies director had not known about it and with tryarch being swapped to finish the other call of duty it probably got set aside and someone forgot about it there is a chance it will hopefully come out for black ops 6
Let me just say that I’d love to see the black ops 3 zombies map remade and remastered if Treyarch does release zombie chronicles 2 the theme side Easter eggs and main quest Easter egg boss fights were all awesome I remember my first time playing gorod krovi riding in the back of a big dragon just to pack a punch but also slaying a giant dragon and the robot boss at the end
Those maps aren’t coming, I think bc of legal issues, even tho they own by the same publisher Act, Jason only brought reimagined of classics, his, and the main, sounds contradictory but I think it’s legal issues!
They really shouldnt have split black ops 4 zombies into 2 different storylines, they should have given the main story we all loved, the send off it deserved, and started the new stuff in the next Treyarch If that happened, i doubt they would have changed Jug, as it wouldnt have had to work in both stories, so there would be less moaning, and year 2 would have proceeded
I remember being so hyped for black ops 4 zombies because of how good black ops 3 zombies mode was but I was very very disappointed. Black ops 3 still looks incredible to be graphics wise, I don't really see that much of an improvement since then graphicly in all games.
Blundell got a reach around from 3arc and is coming back to restore zombies. Sorry trying to breathe this into existence. With z mode feeling more and more like all the other modes I really feel that's what we need. This military operation feels zombies sucks, we need our comic booky fantasy sci-fi feels back.
I am theonly person who would say this, but i really want the chaos story from black ops 4 to come back i really want to see the ending to it, makes me sad knowing that we probally arent ever gonna get it again
I still have hope. If they don’t release it this year with BO6 they will release it with the alleged BO2 remaster coming in 2025. I heard speculation that the release map “Liberty Fall” will be a transit remaster in BO6
With set crews returning in BO6 (with optional Operators) instead of the Operators-only setup in BOCW and VG Zombies, there's a higher chance ZC2 would be in BO6. HOPING!
I don’t think a second release will ever happen personally. Not only that but Black Ops 4’s failure was 100% responsible for it never happening Let’s think here: if Activision, a money hungry studio, had eight (or even four) finished, polished, fan favorite maps ready to be released, why would they sit on it for this many years and not only eat all of those wasted hours & weeks spent working on it, but also deprive themselves the chance of making more money? I think it was definitely was a thing at some point and the reused assets from some of the maps were possibly an indication, but I don’t believe it was ever close to being completed and the way BO4 zombies went didn’t help
Imagine the outrage if they said it was done but we arent releasing it i feel like it'd be worse because they vant release it on an old game and if they do on a game 1+ years in the future theyd have to almost redo the entire thing id have thought
Honestly i can really only think of 1 time it might actually come out and that's 2030 the end of Treyarchs development cycle on the ps6 or its never coming out.
I believe zc2 exists or at least did but was ultimately shelved. The idea of it not being released because it would be in correlation to an older title is ridiculous because remember zc1 released 8 months after bo3 while IW was in the middle of its life cycle in which IW zombies took a massive negative effect. I believe it exists and was shelved after the poor reception of bo4 zombies, the mess behind cold war didnt make it better and the horrible reaction to vanguard zombies that made Activision decide to go against it
I’m gonna say it since no one ever wants to but five needs to be apart of zombies chronicles 2. Didn’t like classified and unfortunately I know many people aren’t a fan of five and the fan base is probably content with the classified remake instead of a remaster/chronicles remake. Well I’m not and ik fans of that map aren’t either. Classified was something I was so hyped for when I first heard about it then We got all the changes for black ops 4 and I was debated cause I knew that was probably the only time we’d see five come back ever again.
Bro the only point of chronicles in the first place was to get all the classic maps without buying the full game/map packs they were attached to. And since they were selling us all old maps, they remastered them a bit. So Why are you guys begging for chronicles 2? So you can get a bunch of maps you didn't like when they launched, like trazit, but now seem amazing compared to what's new?
OG fans are not scared to say BO4 zombies absolutely sucked and failed like a hot steaming pile of shit. New school (BO4 and newer) think BO4 zombies and cold war is "fIrE" because they never actually bought DLC on launch that was fire like der riese, moon, origins, etc...
Bo4 zombies and MP was absolute dog shit and hotdog water mixed into a smoothie topped with whipped booty juice.. I got well acquainted with blackout that year.. Cold War zombies was one of my favorites.. But not for the same reasons as the og zombie games.. I liked it so much cause it was just fun to kick back and play round based zombies either casually or beat the maps with friends

Played zombies some WAW and I thought B04 and CWZ were both great in their own ways Don't try to speak for everyone if what you're saying is the equivalent of my dad telling me donkey kong is the greatest video game ever made. Stop crying because they made it more accessible to casual players and stop complaining that they don't want to make a third ending to the OG storyline when the first two were shit on mercilessly during their cycle just for you to all turn around in 5 years and say "actually it was all amazing, Golden age"

Idk if it was just me but after playing Cold War zombies for the first time I had little to no interest in it🤷🏻♂️. The health bars the aim assist, all of it felt cheap and nothing like the zombies I know and love😂. Just hope bo6 can change that for me
So the dude says wish someone would make bops ZC2 but also mentions a painful situation at work..😅 Like did they only start with assets and plans when the cut happened? Also has anyone talked to Kevin Dew about the mod community’s ZC2 and if they would get the cash? 🤣 An really at this point I don’t expect or trust Treyarch to make ZC2 and it will never be made into dlc but instead we either get a ZC game with all the maps and modes or nothing. Likely with Bops6 being the last zombies game or them moving forward with the bad idea that is MWZ part 2.
Nothin g was really changed aside from how people play .you either choose to be op or not.bo4 was definitely the last good one.And tbh i play bo4 a lot more than bo3.i like bo3 dont get me wrong ive been playing since waw. but bo3 has only 2 good maps with replayability .bit with bo4 i can have fun in almost every map minus classified its boring
If they release zc2 then the game has to revolve around a theme that will also fit it, and the current plot. With the aspect of how the game looks now with its "new" graphics and look even though its dogshit, they wont do it.
No bo4 maps technically takes place before th e original counter parts. Alpha takes place before nuketown was bombed .Tag takes place in 1960 and call takes place in 2011.those maps are prequels.
@@Zayk74u they aren’t remakes they are remasters that all take place before the original maps .blood takes place after mob but everything. Else is before therefore they aren’t really remakes since they are the true original forms .

@@gazwilliams-nc7jp the issue is they had to end it.Bo3 basically looped the cycle to the point that there was no deviation.bo4 broke the cycle which is what was able to end the story if not the story would have never ended

The Great War takes place by origins.while the war was happening we were in origins .If we had fought in the war.It would’ve accomplished nothing because if we won the cycle still exist and continues.It would serve no purpose.if we fought in the war instead of being at origins then richtofen wouldn’t have been saved by Pablo and sent to blood to be frozen.keep in mind the lore states as long as the crew exist so does the cycle and as long as the cycle exist the crew will exist.so they realized the Great War would accomplish nothing that’s why.
