In this world there are two races: the pumpkins and the zombies. The two are very unlike, while the pumpkins stayed on roads all the time and preferred to be nomadic, the zombies lived peacefully and actually built all the structures. The pumpkins honor a deity: Karl. He is the master of travel and nearly indestructible. The zombies honor another god: the UFO. It comes during the night to give the zombies light. However, now there is a new immortal. You, the player. The player is that of the pumpkins' kind, always on the move. Yet it shows no mercy for either race. Idea as to why (not in multiplayer) you are the only human and all the other drivers are pumpkins, mutant rabbits, snowmen, and the zombie: They are all from failed experiments to make animals and eventually humans immortal that they first tested on rabbits, then it failed turned into a demon bunny (its mission was to spread the virus to all the other bunnies, it was a success, they spread the virus to humans then radiation got to snowmen making them demons too, after a while the radiation stops being effective to humans, now you are driving to your "grandmas" house but in reality its the nuclear bunker that keeps you safe from snowmen, demon rabbits, being turned into a pumpkin, and zombies

In this world both Karl and Christine are gods. Karl is trying to kill the player while Christine protects the player. After you found Christine, Karl attacked by passing by and taking all your fuel and leaving you to fight off the the pumpkins by yourself. After you killed Karl, he started try and kill you as a ghost. He put zombies in the stops because you have to go in on foot in there and not be protected by Christine.

Camodo - Zombie Theory: Before the Long Drives time, there was a world where millions of content people lived there were oceans too. But there was an event in time that affected everything. Millions of people were affected and/or died during the event (which explains the pumpkin heads and now Zombies). Several cars were affected too, and tankers were left to waste by the drying of the oceans. And only a handful of people survived.

I think that the zombies used to be survivors when the bunnies began to take over and kill everyone and everything and if you were bitten by one, well zombies 101 u get bit u turn into one except since bunnies and humans are different they just make humans look more freaky and possibly more dangerous. U can tell they took a bit of rabbit traits when bitten because they walk on all 4s when chasing someone like u Camodo. Also why they might be in certain buildings is because they may have been bitten when with there survivor friends and when they turned they infected their friends too hence small groups of zombies inside of some buildings. I think the aliens whom infected the rabbits as a experimental test in return the rabbiys infected the "people" and now everyone is starting to go mad max crazy due to the panic. And I theorize that Karl is also an alien scout driving around to find more subjects.

I think zombies would go with the game because of the fact that on steelpants radio, Shane (the host) said he saw some zombie/mutant-like people. I also would not like zombies because I don't want to fight them off at every stop and like that there is nothing to worry about

Zombie lore: there was a city in the desert and near the ocean and tankers were going there with no one in them and buildings had zombies in there. no one now why but then a zombie out break happened when they went on land and a nuke was dropped on that city destroying everything but some buildings and zombies survived and yeah the end

The aliens were testing on all the humans in the long drive but the tested people have become too powerful for the aliens to deal with, now the zombies wonder expanding their infection, which is the reason for the abandoned buildings and aliens barely showing
