Today on 07-08-2024,a Zonal Level mega event of Quiz, Painting, and Story Writing Competition was organized by Zonal Education Officer Khari at Govt Ups Kawna with great enthusiasm to foster creativity, critical thinking, and competitive spirit among students. The event aimed to provide a platform for students to showcase their talents in various fields. In Quiz Competition total Participants were 24 from 8 Schools(In Middle Standard) and 15 students from 5 Schools across the zone.Topics covered in the quiz were enviroment, Freedom fighters, Martyers of nation and Civic Sense.The winning team was from HS TRANA in Middle Standard but in Primary level there was a tough competition and quiz tied up among 3 teams and again tied up between 2 teams finally Alfalah english academy Manjoss was the winner.
In Painting Competition there were 8 Participants from 8 Schools.The Theme for the painting was Unsung National heroes ,encouraging students to express their thoughts and creativity through art.The paintings were judged based on creativity, relevance to the theme, colour usage, and overall impact. The first prize was awarded to Mujtaba Rehman from Alfalah English Academy, Pervaiz Ahmed from HS Buzla got 2nd position ,Shabnum Banoo from PM Shree Ups Kundan and Salman Hillal Naik from Mifthai Public School both stood at 3rd Position. In Story Writing Competition there were 7 Participants from 7 Schools. The theme for the story writing was Unsung national heroes and Stories were evaluated based on originality, narrative style, coherence, and language proficiency.The best story was penned by Ameena Bano from UPS Tragan Trigam who got 1st Position,Taiba Farooq from Alfalah English Academy got 2nd Position and Aliya Fayaz from PM Shree Ups Kundan got 3rd Position.All the Stories were appreciated for its engaging plot and excellent writing style. The Zonal Level Quiz, Painting, and Story Writing Competition was a resounding success, providing students with an excellent opportunity to showcase their skills and gain confidence. The participants were applauded for their efforts with medals and the winners were awarded certificates and Medals to recognize their achievements.The event concluded with a vote of thanks, where the organizers expressed their gratitude to the escort teachers, participants, and all the supporting staff for making the event a memorable one. At the end, all the participants were provided refreshment by the organising team and lunch for the guests was arranged by Ups Kawna. The organising team is highly thankful to all the participants, audience in general and Ups Kawna in Particular for making this event a grand success which has set a high standard for future competitions.
