I've just started over-wintering peppers, and it gives a HUGE jumpstart on the next season to have the rootstock already partly established in the spring. I'm going to have to tear out my serranos instead of over-wintering them again this year because my freezer is so full of serranos! More room for other pepper types this year.
Where in Ramona? I used to live in San Diego Country Estates (the early years). Started my first organic garden there! Now I’m in Vermont starting over again with raised beds for veggies and cut flower business. And ready to start my microgreens business. One of the best sources for gardening was Sunset Magazine. It might be just on-line now. And I’m a regular viewer of Kevin at Epic Gardening (San Diego). Very inspiring! Carolyn/Vermont Cat Lady
Farm is looking great 👍🏿 Sure all this much needed rain recently has been helping too! Definitely will be the first on that list for those red flower fava!
So much rain ☔️ Pineapple Express bringing us so much rain and 65° degree temperatures here in Santa Cruz CA My broccoli is bolting 😢 I hoped this would be a successful brassicas year I have some back up seedlings in my greenhouse Do you think if I plant them after the flood is done they would produce? I give it a try
The stinging nettles are invasive, and they hurt. My poor garden beds are loaded, and I have to dig them up and have been covering them with cardboard. I can't stand them.
