I still have this for PS2. Finished the game many times. I sold it once, then after looking for it for awhile, bought it again. There is very few games that I've bought over from liking it so much. One of the best PS2 games, period. Great from music to gameplay to storyline.
I know this video for a long long time now, and it´s always a delight to watch it *_* I've seen this so many times, I know every part of it ^ 0^ Who ever made this video is a freaking GENIUS!!!
what. a. trailer. i still get goose bumps watching it! They were such amazing games!! The gameplay was INSANE! The videos were INSANE! and the overall story was..... IIINNNSAAANNNEE!!!! They need to make BLOCKBUSTER MOVIES OF EACH OTHER GAMES!!!!! They would make MILLIONS!!!
This is a mecha game that does it right, and not just the visuals. The story feels right, the cutscenes are captivating and there are more than a few plottwists allong the way. The battles are hard, the ability's you gain arn't gimicks. It has a great unlock system for bonus content and the overall feeling of (growing) power and danger is ever present. I simply love this game. Near the end of the game you will be
Oh man, I played this game for the first time in years, and I remember why I love it so much; it's so kick ass. And the soundtrack too, I love the sountrack.
This along with Phantom Dust has to be one of the most UNDERRATED GAMES. This game was BRILLIANT. The story lines, the game play, and everything! It got really GOOD reviews (excellent reviews actually), but it remained underrated.
I used to not like mechas. Then I got in the Zone. I absolutely love it, and I love listening to this intro with all the dialogue. Sitting down for about an hour and beating it on Extreme. No saves, no continues. Also, I'm listening to this while playing an MMO...my quest says to recover something from "Dingo." I hope to the gods he doesn't have an Orbital Frame.
I remember buying this game for my buddy as a bd present, and upon starting it, I spent hours playing it in his stead. He didn't mind though, considering how he wasn't much of a gaming person, but still played games sometimes. It took me years to figure out what the game was actually called, considering I didn't focus my attention on game titles and shit, but rather just popped the fucker in and play it, AND because my friend had sold the game a couple of months later.
ZoE2 has got to be one of the fastest paced games there is, most of my friends give up playing because they just can't keep up with the movement speed, to the extreme of being sick!! Me, I love it, and they always look at me as if I'm insane!! Togeather with the first game, the anime and the OVA it's a fantastic story
ADA: Battle Over. Anubis wins. Nohman: You have come back under my command. ADA: You have done well. *Ding Ding Ding* *Two thumbs up, but only one is registered*
This gets me so pumped to play this game again, I just won an auction for it on ebay, since only buybacks stocks it here and they expect me to pay 50 bucks for it.
Yea, it's a shame this game didn't reach a higher level of popularity. This is on my list of top 5 greatest games, along with Gunstar Heroes, Shadow of the Colossus, Zelda:OoT, and MMX. I'm really hoping Kojima sees that people are really interested in this game when the HD version comes out and he makes a #3.
Kojima is a fucking genius. This game as well as the MGS games kick ass and I look forward to ZOE 3. I'm still working on Fist of Mars. In my opinion, it would be awesome if they made an anime where the gundams and the orbital frames either fight each other, team up, or do both.
I have played both games in order but for me, anyone who played the 2nd game earlier might find the first game boring. I was so used to Jehuty's homing lasers in the 2nd game that when I replayed the first, I was surprised that the laser just shoots forward and have forgotten about it.
the second one is way better than the first one. They made the game way more story oriented and the gameplay and upgrades are balanced...at least to the end.
The voice acting was great for the time. The only thing that made it seem bad was the lip sync, but the actual voices were great. I actually hope they get back the old actors or at least some of them, although it's been 10 years so i don't know....
@GHOST8990 what happen is the clear discs are more easy to the optic unity to read, theyre capable of more light reflection, the blue discs are more difficult to reflect the laser beam the point is.. your cds are work correctly, your optic unity has weakened with time, its normal
@ODUHQReviews Touche! XD I've forgotten that there are guys who does the things right XD. I agree with you in that point. I only hope that hollywood stays away fron Zone of the Enders XP. For Hive productions... they have my blessing X3
Movie: Z.O.E. - Idolo 1st game : Zone of the Enders Tv Serie: Z.O.E. Dolores,i 2nd game : Zone of the enders : The 2nd runner. Both movie and tv show is Anime (animated) the movie is great. the 1st game is good but takes some time to get into it. 2nd game really good. (^_^)/ but the tv serie isnt the best. if you like the games it might be fun to watch. :-P
@fha64 I knew something was up with those blue discs. I made a hypothesis and it seems to be correct lol. Do you know whether or not Zone of the Enders: The 2nd Runner is a clear disc or a blue disc? It always seems to be the older games that end up being blue discs. And this one is fairly old. I forget the year it came out though. Just want to make sure so I don't waste money on a video game that may stop working after a few months or a year.
