Yes! And the melody/chorus was so redundant, shows none of her range. Can we get some background vocals and a little harmony? There too many rests in the vocal line in my opinion also. This single had way more potential if there was more lyrical and melodic substance!
There's a disconnect.. it could be the lyrics..maybe the looks..idk it just lacked fluidity. However her look is poppingggg and her voice is strong..just need solid lyrics
It goes together just fine. There's a lot of great songs that mix r&b and hiphop/hood music. The only problem here is that the lyrics are terrible and she needs to stop sounding so nasally.
Terrible song. That said, the video didn't have much to work with. Idk if/why TI and/or Tiny approved this as her solo introduction to the world, but they should definitely go back to the drawing board with this one. Talented and beautiful girl, but this song and video did nothing to showcase that.
Diamond Girl My statement wasn't related to her needing parental approval. I was acknowledging the fact that her parents are talented artists who I wasn't too sure had a hand in..."this". If they didn't, then I think they could have positively contributed to the final product, given their credentials. If they did, then this isn't a great introduction in my opinion.

Well I didn't hear her whole album, but I can sing like her if I wanted to the same way she sung this song like I do everyday. But yet I sing better. So it doesn't have to be auto tuned. This isn't the only song that's going to be out. Everyone heard her sing before on tiny & toya in her room. She can sing. You guys are comparing but her own bestfriend "Bahja" isn't thinking that way about her friend. They support each other. Commenting telling people she can't sing. You guys are ridiculous look at y'all. But the ones who really heard her sing are those close to her. They wouldn't be a reason for her not to be in the studio. Crazy.

SAD this even exist but I suppose everyone is enjoying it for entertainment purposes and not the talent, voice, singing, because lets face it... That ain't anywhere in this video or in general.
you can always tell if they can hold a tune for real while auto tuning if the auto tune holds well. I know that sounds crazy as hell but I cant think of another way to say it... its almost as if you can hear the break or crackle in the auto tune when they cannot hold a tune if that makes more sense. its like hearing T-Pain's auto tune compared to Kanye's or Weezy's. Pain's shit sounds good like he can really sing which he can where Wayne and Kanye's shit sounds broke and crazy. that's why so many don't use a talk box because you have to be able to hold a tune using the original where this auto tune effect on your PC or Mac program does it for you. but, you can still tell if they cannot hold a tune. id say she can by the way her auto tune sounds.
another example of a rich kid getting they way because she has 0 talent. all that even the auto tune didn't make her voice better. she had the least talent out of all the girls in the group, and she was the first to brake out all because she has rich parents.
In my opinion I feel like Bahja has the better vocals but less money b/c her video for lipstick looked pretty cheap . But no one can say that Bahja doesn't have natural talent , she don't need auto tune to be able to sing . I mean Zonnique is gorgeous , but the music business is just not for her , I'm sorry . I know her parents want her to prolly follow in their footsteps , but she doesn't have the natural vocals like her mom does.
+Liyahdashae Nique had professionals for her video. Bahja was supposed to have professionals too but they didn't show up because of something so she had to get friends of her to do her video that's why it looks that way.
+Tasha Harris she has the voice that only can be projected through auto tune which sounds horrible.... a singing career isn't for her .... she need to Model or something because nooo .
Coming from someone who doesn't know her from anywhere, her vocals are nice, the song has a nice chord progression and beat, young thug blesses the song...Overall the song is pretty good
