Also a good note to add this bike is actually 150cc piston and combustion chamber but is restricted to 125cc by the factory to get it into the UK witch a quick mapping, or power commander you can unlock it and have the time of your life 😁 Happy riding !!
Not true what u sayin. Zontes U 125 4T 2021-2023 piston diameters is 52mm, while 150cc is 62mm. Throttle body in 125cc is 26mm, while 150cc have 28mm, stock exhaust block also engine in EU, cause it need to be at least EURO5 compatible. So, 125cc is 125cc, 150cc is 150cc but in asia :)
This video just pained me I've had mine off the road for over a year just collecting dust an I think you've nailed my problem, mine came straight after the first jet wash as well but since that doesn't even handle rain, think I might have a dive back into it now an see if this videos gonna help like I'm hoping ✌️
Also if you look on the right hand side of the bike just under the tank you with see a big plug of wires going into the tank then a single red one it’s own connected together check this maybe as I looked at mine today and this was corroding as well and without that one red wire the bike doesn’t do anything!!
I have the U1 and they seem to have fixed most of the issues. Had this bike 10months now been great fun. For the fuel tank latch you should clean with wd40 and then use some Greece. And the only real problem I have had is after a jet wash water gets into the air filter and bogs down at high rpm. One time it wouldn't start at all u less I had the throttle on full. Issue solved by cuttin up some tights and puttin over where the air feeds in and taking off the 2 caps from the buttom of the filter givving it a good run to warm up and dry out and slap the caps back on never had an issue since. Good video though your the first person iv seen with so many issues on one zontes everyone iv spoke to with one can't fault it 😁

I got a question, I am 17 years old with zt 125u, and i got a issue, well basically i was riding home from school, and my bike started choking, and after a while it lost all power and died, i could get it to start and i had to pull it to my garage, and i found out, when it cools down, it starts and drives good!! but when it reaches like 90 degrees celsius, the bike starts losing power, chokes, dies and won't start until its cooled down again, I have the bike currently at a zontes repairshop, and they also dont know whats wrong with it. Does anyone else had the same problem? If yes, what was the problem please? thanks for any comment and tips, i wish i could ride the bike right now, have a good day!!
Hello, I do have a problem that my bike wont really start, when I try to start it cannot maintain rpms, sometimes when I ride everything looks good, but when I catch a hole in the rode my bike just shuts off, but in few mins it good to go… I ride Zontes 310r
My lads got similar Bike 2022 plate has bogging out problem intermittent...seems to be after rain fall or riding during rain ...you think it could be HT lead problem or carb setup..pain in the ass it is 😞
Won’t be carb mate as they are fuel injected yeah could be ht lead mine did suffer with that till I changed . I’d try that if not I’d sell it mate can’t lie to you there absolute shit once those electrics start going we lost nearly everything Speedo abs start button rear seat stopped working bloody loads look the parts but cheap Chinese electrics get him an mt 125
Yeah maybe good idea but he still got 18 months of finance on it as he had it from new...will take a look at electrics and HT lead...thanks for info buddy 👍

Thinking about getting a Zontes, and I'd like to ask, do you think I could solve the fusebox issue before it happens by squirting a little WD40 into the connectors, covering the fuse with a small plastic bag (Like a sandwich bag or something) and ziptie-ing said bag up over the rubber wire cover?
I have had a issue with my zontes scorpion speedometer it works now at then but most of the time it doesn’t work at all it shows I’m doing 0mph when I’m doing 30 and the miles will not go up anyone have any idea what this could be thanks!

Wasson mate you good . Really recon your dash and that not coming in and all that is because of the fuse board as that is the same ones as in my video that control them
Iv yet to change my zontes exhuast. I thought you bought a bigger bike? Mine has had no problems but it has only 150 miles lol. Are you sure your servicing the bike by the manual? If your having that many problems dont think your servicing it as often. Iv had my bike sitting out in the rain for 2 days it started up fine.
No I just owned a 600 diversion that I did up and sold ! yeah mines on 13000 miles . The fuses corroding is nothing to do with a service ?? They don’t check them for a service. But no the bike last went it at 4000 miles I don’t let anyone touch my bikes other than myself ! New video dropping Sunday which shows more and how to prevent it from happening I recommend every zontes owner does this as it’s something that’s gonna effect everyone. My bikes been garaged and off the road for 3 months and the fuse boards have still corroded and started to rust just due to being metal and getting cold then moisture forming ! New set of fuses all round and fill the fuse boards with waterproof electrical Greece then your all set simple fix and I know of at least 13 people experiencing similar problems so I recommend checking out the video on Sunday
Other than ht lead issues at 5000 miles the bikes been amazing until it hit 13000 miles and winter started especially in December when we had freezing nights this is when the bike broke down . Wouldn’t start and lost the speedo and ABS . Like I say this was all due to fuses ! Dried the fuses with a lighter and she fired straight up . Checked all fuses and they were rusty so replaced them then checked the other day after it’s just been sat in a dry garage and it’s had happened again .
Found your Video through google, because I started to get some issues with mine this year. Sometimes my bike shuts off during riding (super annoying) doesn't matter at what speed, up/downhill, straight, high or low rpm, hard to recreate but it always happens in 2nd gear. The other issue is, that it won't start. Pulling the clutch and pressing the start button does nothing, however.. yesterday (run into this problem again) I figured out, if I pull the clutch away from me and back in, the bike starts... any suggestions?! However, ill take a look at the fuse box, cause as u mentioned, this bike hates water or any humid condition over a longer time 😒
@@thanosthegamer8309 thanks for you response. It's been a while since my first comment 😁 so, yes, it was the kickstand sensor and no, it wasn't. It was also the sensor on the clutch, that oxidized and after fixing this, the same problem occurred about a mile after picking it up from the dealership for repair. It completely shuts off, no electricity, nothing, and it wouldn't turn on unless you push your key into the PKE sensor ...sooo, it's still at the dealership and it will be there until the end of september because, the spare part is out of stock. very nice ☹️ I'm done with this bike, it's kinda sad because it's really nice but I'm gonna sell it as soon as it's fixed.
@@thanosthegamer8309 was thinking about the yamaha mt-125, no need for more ccm for me, since I mostly use my bike for commuting. It's almost double the price compared to the zontes, but I do have a dealership near me (the one for the zontes is 45 miles away 😒) or do you have any recommendations?
i have a zontes zt 125u i have the same problem changed the batteries in the fobs bike battery is fully charged replaced the red lock button on the handle bars and still no joy.
@@SkriLLex22525 not really only kept it 3 months was just shit build quality I thought the bike just didn’t feel tight if that makes sense? And it just started rusting really quick which pissed me off
@@smokinstud1 haha yeah I know mate I’ve had everything to be honest has 73 bikes 😂just liked the styling of the zones and swapped it for my aprilia sx 125 as found out that was just as Chinese as the zontes was 😂
