In honor of the 24th anniversary of Baby Shakespeare and the 2nd anniversary of Bard's Book of Animals (as well as Thanksgiving), Bard has decided to celebrate at the @MetroRichmondZoo (one of the few zoos in this series outside of Florida), and has brought his close friends Beethoven the Giraffe, Jane the Monkey, and Otter to join him (puppets designed by DMPCreative and Donald Productions).
This episode includes a cheetah that's friends with a dog (the famous Kumbali and Kago), not one but TWO species of tapir (including a baby Baird's tapir), a massive amount of primates and more.
This is one of the better non-AZA-accredited zoos in America (not THE best, that title probably goes to Pittsburgh even though I haven't been there yet). It's far too big and its collection is far too impressive to be called a roadside zoo. I wouldn't consider it as good as the Virginia Zoo in Norfolk, but it's pretty close. Although some of the animals could use just a little bit more space, such as the big cats and Komodo dragon (which I did not show).

Lion, Slender-tailed meerkat, Chilean flamingo, Mallard duck (wild), Eclectus parrot, African penguin, Striped skunk, Baird's tapir, Plains zebra, Snow leopard, Lar gibbon, Emu, Red kangaroo, Common chimpanzee, Siamang (they would not shut up), Black-handed spider monkey, White-faced capuchin, Bornean orangutan, Bengal tiger, Bat-eared fox, Fennec fox, Asiatic black bear, Two-toed sloth, Pygmy hippopotamus, American alligator, Straw-colored fruit bat, Indian flying fox, Raccoon, Marabou stork, Greater rhea, Capybara, Caracal, Brazilian tapir, Southern white rhinoceros, African clawless otter, Diana monkey, Gibbon (species unknown, probably Hoolock), Great white pelican, Bongo, Greater kudu, Stanley crane, Blue and gold macaw, Southern ground hornbill, American bison, Rock hyrax, Cheetah, Klipspringer, Common wallaroo (somewhere in there), Galapagos giant tortoise, Domestic goat, Reticulated giraffe (see also: Beethoven, although he might be a different subspecies), Grey crowned crane, Domestic dog (the aforementioned Kago who lives with Kumbali the cheetah), Steller's sea eagle, King vulture, Gray wolf.
