Wow, I love how you give the TIMESTAMP on your video. That saves time when you want to navigate the settings on Windows! Not everyone is wired with a Windows mind! Thanks bunches this Groundhog Day! 6 more weeks of Winter for Ontario Canada.
I just started today having to use Zoom for a Dr. Appointment So when I get to the point a keen and long number and the doctor comes on there is no audio on either side. She ended up calling me while we see each other on zoom she told me that I didn't have my audio turned on. I didn't mess around with any settings and I don't know anything about zoom and I don't know where to go to check these settings. I am only using this on my android phone. Can you please help me I am so lost. Thank you so much for reading.
Sounds very frustrating. I don't know about the android app, but I'm guessing it is similar to the iOs app. You can see the controls there in this video ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-VIRBixXSjOc.html
If you are trying to share the powerpoint and have the sound from that be heard during sharing, there is a checkbox to share computer sound to check when you share the window. Here is my video about screen sharing ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-5NZzP6BK9hs.html
@@ChadlyCreativeConsulting Maam i am so thankfull that you replied well the thing is that before it did worked properly but now suddenly noone can hear my voice 3:23 i dont know where is that tab and how to find it i want to check if its on and the later suggestions that you gave in the video yes i did tried it but it didn't worked
@@anupalamichhane7992 You'll want to search for the microphone privacy settings on your computer to find that tab. I was on a PC and used the search bar to find it.
That's all well and good, but I use a tablet. With no mic or dashboard of glyphs!! So this wasn't helpful at all. All I get is basic ,and only allows chat. When I'm sent an email by host, I click on link, and video is good but no options to audio
@@ChadlyCreativeConsulting Hi, yes I believe it must, it's a new tablet, only 3 months old, my son set up the link, and I activated my account, and we tested it, it worked ,now he's once more 2000 miles away, and it doesn't,
@@lyndacalder5083 The only thing I can suggest because I'm not there either is to be sure that your Zoom app is up to date. I hope you get this figured out soon.
@@isabellaa4164 It's hard to troubleshoot long distance and through comments. I'm hoping you have figured this out already. If not, I'm wondering you are are getting any sound at all from Zoom. You can join a test meeting at this link and try the testing for speakers to see if you hear anything that way. support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/115002262083 If not, I'm wondering if Zoom doesn't have permission to use the computer speakers in some setting on your computer.
I can hear my audio play back but the quality is really bad and muffled. Zoom says 'your audio is not working properly'. Any suggestions for making to clearer and unmuffled ??
Forget to mention the most important thing to check ... make sure that the microphone, camera, and speakers are actually plugged in. Maybe the cat knocked it loose ... it happens.
OMG! Thank you so much! During an meeting we tried to fix the mic issue. We couldn't. I had to use both my webcam and my cell phone so I could talk. After watching your video, I checked the computer setting you suggested.. and VALA!!!! It's fixed!!! WooT! Thank you so much!
When I use zoom on my tablet with my headphones I can hear the other person but they can't hear me. Even with all the permissions turned on for the app still not working. Even When I Unmute and turn on audio on the zoom app they still can't hear me. My tablet is new I just bought it so Idk what the issue is. Idk if it's my tablet or zoom
Sound frustrating! Can the other person hear other people on the call and just not you? You may want to try joining with your phone or another device to see if the issue is the tablet.
@@ChadlyCreativeConsulting yes I mostly use zoom on my phone and it works perfectly. Idk why it doesn't for my tablet it's weird cuz it should still work
Hi Marcia, my problem is that during 'test speakers' I am unable to hear the ringtone. During the meeting, everyone can hear me but I cant hear anyone. Could you help pleaaase? Thanks!
It sounds like there is either a problem with your speakers or that Zoom and your speakers are not working together. Can you hear videos or other sounds on your computer? If not, there may be something wrong with your speakers. If so, the issue is between Zoom and your speakers. Have you worked through the speaker related portions of this video to make sure Zoom is trying to use the speakers that work otherwise and the microphone settings on your device to be sure that Zoom can access your microphone?
@@ChadlyCreativeConsulting I have the same issue and tried all the things you suggest in the video still couldn't fix my issue... And yes I can hear videos on my laptop browser there is no issue, the only issue is with output in zoom meeting

i have problem with the speaker. Can't hear anything from my Zoom application...tried changing speaker several times in zoom app setting but no luck. But the speaker is working on google meet and skype. I wonder which setting did I missed?
If you've worked through everything in this video, the only other thing that I can suggest is to update Zoom and your speaker driver. I hope you get this figured out soon!
@@ChadlyCreativeConsulting mam...now it's audible. The problem was in speaker.Thank you so much ma'am. It's a great pleasure that you are responding to everyone.
With me everything's fine, and then suddenly the audio will conk out. I'll leave and come right back, and then it works fine again. But this happens every time ! It disrupts my classes and meetings.
When I do the audio testing I do not hear anything. Does that mean it is not working? I have a very important job interview and they are doing it by zoom. So I tested it and do not hear any sound when I test the audio? Also do I have to sign up for Zoom to do this interview, or just go into the meeting they sent me? Thank you!
You do not have to have a Zoom account to join a Zoom session. You do need to be able to hear sounds during the audio testing to be able to hear during a call. I hope you've figured out the issue there.

i used to have trouble free zoom, but not until recently. the last 3 times ive tried to use zoom its been hell. I ´m accused of either being too busy to start a zoom call, or i have just ended the call. I dont suppose theres a solution?
@@ChadlyCreativeConsulting Hi CLC. for example, the other day i had a meeting scheduled for 5pm. So as usual i logged in 10mins earlier and waited for the admit window to pop up. At 5pm a pop up appeared to say i was busy in another meeting. So i logged out and tried to login again without any success. So i did a practice zoom with my wife. The same thing happened again. Ive even tried removing zoom and downloading it again to no avail Ive tried 3 different browsers with no sucess.
@@chriscoughlan5221 That is really strange. When you logged in were you set as host and was the meeting id the same as the one you had scheduled? What happened when your wife tried to join the meeting?
@@chriscoughlan5221 If you were logged in to the meeting that you scheduled with the same account that you scheduled the meeting with, I can't think of any reason that would happen other than a Zoom bug. Unfortunately my only suggestion is to be sure your Zoom app is updated and to reboot your device. If none of that works, you could try reaching out to Zoom.
Thanks for your video. I have a pop-up saying 'Your speaker is not working properly. Your voice can still be recorded but the voice of the other participants cannot' (I have it so it starts recording when I start the meeting). But when I go into the audio settings and 'test' it, I can hear the audio ok. Just had a meeting with a friend on there and it was fine, but it makes me worry in case I am unable to hear a participant when I'm doing an important interview or something.
I have not seen that popup. You might want to use your favorite search engine to find out more about what that means. Testing recording with a friend would be a good way to find out if recording really is impacted.
@@pamtheado5325 Can you hear other videos ok? Is it a problem only with this one? When you say you can't see does that mean parts of the video are fuzzy or the words are too small? What parts can't you see?
Hello When I share a video on zoom I can hear but others cannot. I have to make the other person host in order for us to hear the video. How can I solve this issue?
Have you seen this video about Zoom screen sharing? ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-5NZzP6BK9hs.html There is a checkbox on the screen share dialog to enable sharing of the sound you hear from your computer.
Thank you, I think I know what happened. The host let me in the meeting early before I was able to test my speakers. The host probably let me in because I'm a regular & I'm usually the first person there. He probably thought that I tested my speakers.
