Zoom Events is such an awesome product for virtual and hybrid events. All of this and more is coming up next!
Intro: Zoom events can be found at Events.Zoom.us and it’s an amazing new platform.
Zoom Events is a new virtual events platform that combines meetings, webinars and collaboration tools for hosting hybrid events.
This is going to be amazing for virtual events, but in this video I also want to talk about hybrid events. In fact, the StreamGeeks have a big announcement to make that I want to let you in on! We have been asked to host the official NAB Show Live Stream. And it’s going to be a HUGE demand for online content, but we also want to produce a “True Hybrid Event” so, back to the main topic here and I will ask you guys what you think to comment below.
Zoom has obviously been working on the new Zoom Events platform for some time and in this blog post, you can learn more about what Zoom Events is all about.
Note about Budget: First of all, you will need to check out the Zoom Events pricing and see if it’s in your budget. Zoom Events is a little more expensive than the Zoom Large Meeting 500 licenses, starting at roughly $900/year. Essentially, Zoom Events gives you the best of the Zoom Meetings and Webinar products with some extra bells and whistles to enhance virtual events.
Note about OnZoom: Perhaps, the coolest new feature of Zoom Events is the OnZoom platform that Zoom announced last year. It looks alot like Eventbrite if you have ever used the event platform used to promote and get people to attend events
Now let’s take a look at the Zoom Events system under the hood.
Note about enabling your Zoom Account with a Zoom Events License.
So let’s go ahead and create a Zoom Event: Once you have enabled your Zoom account with a Zoom Events license you can schedule Zoom events via the OnZoom website. You can click the “Create” event button to start laying out your virtual event. Obviously, you will can name your event and a description but the great part of this layout is the public profile that will be made. This public profile is then listed on the OnZoom platform for people to sign up with.
