1: yes - it seems it got a good looper and rytm section, outside the patches. Like the old G5, not the newer.

Great question. I have messed around with the looper and drum machine. The next time I fire it up I’ll see if I can switch patches while the looper is running.

Thanks! I am a long time user of Zoom products..since gfx 4 until g1xon. As far as I see the demo, looks like Krampus is a good amp model in zoom g11 and g6.

Totally agree having used both. With modellers you just end up in preset browsing hell. Often I get more out of my Vox and 4 pedals.

I just got one of these this week. I’ve messed around with it some and I like it. I used the Redloom amp and set up a pedalboard type of patch. Clean, od pedal, distortion pedal, fuzz pedal, an ir, tape echo, and spring reverb. Not too much gain, and dialed out some bass. I agree with you on simple patches. I ran it in a qsc k10 and I liked it. Still learning how to use but I think it’s a keeper.

I thought I made the wrong choice on my line 6 hx stomp after the head rush gig board came out. The head rush has a 5 in touch screen that makes it super easy to use but, the touch screen on the line six is small and after some time I’ve seen how the small screen is actually a benefit in terms of durability. The small scratches on the screen now would be a lot bigger on the head rush and it would mess up the controls on the unit for me personally. This unit would be the same. I’d need to buy a perfectly sized bag for this alone to not mess up the screen

@@JosePineda-jn8jk You probably get a bluetooth interface and a pad for hands on control higher up, with the unit on the floor, that is how i would want it. With the option of both.

@@R.Stridstrom you can. I just got this and you can buy an optional Bluetooth module. Then you can control with smartphones and tablets. Zoom guitar lab app.

Well, there are pretty good modelers out there. The Line 6 Helix for example sounds amazing and gets new features with every update. I haven't touched my tube amp since I bought my Helix and didn't miss it for even a second. But what I've heard from the Zoom G11 so far doesn't impress me at all. Sounds super fuzzy. Pretty much like my old Zoom G5 which I hated.

Ты хочешь сказать, что зум 3-5 серии звучит хуже того же самого босса или моэра?😏 В моэре можно очень оччетливо услышать пластик, про зум я такого сказать не могу, хотя ценник у зума самый демократичный.

Евгений, в своем ценовом сегменте (g3n-g5n), зум нагибает. За эти бабки можно купить устаревшие line6поды с их вагоном песка и управлением через жопу, муэр с загрузкой импульсов, но перегрузами, мало отличающихся от педалей sound js, боссы которые звучат так же как и 15 лет назад с их бубнящим басом и чрезмерными высокими, неплохие digitech, но тоже резучие, или же взять зум с усилителями, сфокусированными на средних частотах с аккуратным зерном. Пусть нет загрузки импульсов, но можно добиться хорошего, аккуратного звука, который будет хорошо лежать в миксе. А про эргономику и юзерфрендли возможности я вообще молчу. Это ж нужно быть таким человеком, чтобы искать и найти видео с еще не вышедшим процессором и просто насрать в комментариях. И откуда такая мотивация? Техникой лишь нужно уметь пользоваться грамотно и понимать как формируется звук. По факту каждый выбирает то, что хочет. Зум это огромная японская корпорация с серьезными уникальными продуктами. Все рофлы на счет зумов говорят только о невежестве и связаны с зумом 505, который в наших широтах появился после того как 6 или 8 лет отгремел во всем мире. Убирайте злость и множьте добро.

I actually think it looks fine. And, it's clearly designed so that any functionality you'd need on stage can be seen through harsh or dark stage lighting - this was a smart move on Zoom's part, in my opinion.

I think it looks cool, AND functional for live use. The touchscreen looks awesome. The row of amp like knobs is great. Familiar hands on layout.

It sounds great. Look at some comparison VS videos. It is a bit expensive, but if if sounds as good as it seems, with those options and that layout - it can probably get very succesful, if they get the bluetooth and app/pc-support right, like with the old G5 software. And touch.
