Omg I had the original zoom g1x back in 06. Just so good to fiddle around with. No one expected heavy distortion with a 25ms delay. Literally the secret to my tone... in 06 lol
You can also use a DC 5 V android charger. I use one as appose to battery’s or a DC 9 V adapter. It’s pretty handy. I just got mine today and have been mucking around with it. It sounds pretty good and has quite a few effects on it.
Hey there. I am going to buy this one effects processor its great! Just tell me one thing. I have an audio interface as well. So what cables should I use to get good recording output in my daw? I mean which kind of cable (TS or TRS) from guitar to processor input and which cable(TS or TRS) for processor output to audio interface input.. ?
Hi, everytime i wanna play to a backing track with a zoom it sounds like garbage... Not usable... Is it not possible to add a backing track from a smartphone...? Do i really need laptop to get it work properly...?
I’ve had this for over a year, and only just started messing with it. Lol. I have other pedals that I’ve been using instead, but I’m forcing myself to try this. One thing I found is that when I run the looper, it never seamlessly goes back to the beginning. There is always a pause when it loops back to the start. However, I’ve now watched two videos (including yours) and you guys both ran the drums first and it didn’t have that problem. Even when you turned the drums off after. I’m gonna have to try it with the drums on, at least at first, and see if that solves the problem, or if my pedal is just busted. If it is a bug in the system, that’s pretty annoying.
How do you like it a year later? I bought and sold the G1Xon twice. Loved the idea, didn't most of the sounds (the modulations were good), found the 30 seconds of looping too short and hated the count-in for the looper and drums. That said, I'd like a couple of pedals, and this is great value for money. So I'm looking again.... Third time? I must be mad...
Hey great demo! When I tried to go into distortion after I recorded a clean loop, it started to play back the clean loop I’d recorded with the distortion. Was wondering how you managed to do it here, or if there’s a setting I missed
After you record your loop, you have to use the numbers 1-5 to find your next effect you want to use, once you hit one of the numbers 1-5, you can then use the 2 bigger foot pedals to dial in the which effect you want, once you have your effect selected you have to press the looper button again before you hit the start loop again… I hope this makes sense lol.
I have a very important question that I need to know, does it prevent gap? Like if you delay in milliseconds it will automatically do the timing perfectly?
@@bidikei7854 in theory.. but it would take a longgggg time to be able to tell, maybe like an hour or more. Even if you’re off more than a millisecond it’s not very noticeable. It hasn’t been an issue, and if your off too much just start over. There’s nothing built on to line it up perfect tho.
@@JRESHOW I see, because I’m about to buy a mooer groove loop x2 where it automatically adjusts the loop to the perfect beat and the music is embedded to the drum beat so they loop together. Unlike with my mooer ge-100, when I loop it the drum and the music don’t stitch so they go separate ways after around 15 minutes.
yeah I would only use it to practice but even then it's iffy because you should practice and get used to doing things you could use for performing, if that's the route you're going down, rather than get used to something you wouldn't be able to use.
