I think Zoom's new IR layering sounds killer. G2 Four sounds as good as any modeler I have heard.

I’ve been a long time Zoom user, but I didn’t think I would overly care for the G2 Four, but I’m loving it. Their user interface and methodology is a little different or strange but not hard to learn. I don’t like that they charge $.99 for the G2 FOUR app on the Apple Store, but it is very useful and faster when creating patches. I hope you enjoy yours.

Great demo. I set up my unit up the same way that you did when connecting to a laptop. I just prefer this over the USB directly. It does work, but, I just like having a stereo output. If you can do it via USB, I would enjoy another video.

Only if you know how to pull a stereo feed via USB into your DAW in your laptop. I like the fact that GX2 Four has the interface, i am getting better results including a stereo feed setup via a PreSonus or Behringer type USB interface via L & R output from Zoom. If you know how to do it via USB directly, that would be great. I also seem to have to pull the volume up in the DAW when recording directly via the USB output from the GX2 Four. Not a show stopper, just a preference. The USB is a great feature and an improvement from say a Zoom G3n.
