Zoom H1 Essential Field Recording Test 

I really love this little recorder.
I have many of these portable recorders & I have to say the Zoom H1E really stands out amongst them all.
Naturally, they all have their strengths and weaknesses, but the Zoom H1E seems a really good all-rounder.

02:06 - 03:25 - Streams
05:30 - 06:35 - Horse Encounter
06:53 - 07:22 - River
07:23 - 07:57 - Reservoir Ambience
07:58 - 08:26 - Gentle Blowing Leaves.
All sounds gathered are straight from the unit with no post processing other than levels. The only clip that had anything else on was the wind blowing the dried leaves - This had a low cut activated on the unit at 80hz to help prevent rumble from the wind.

Rycote Deadcat (Made for the Sony M10 - it fits, but there is a bit of a gap so I wouldn't recommend it)
