It is a larger number of interconnected images. Basically the image is scaled down to half size and the painting is continued seamlessly around, over and over again.

After watching intensively for about 3 minutes my vision is still zooming in lmao. First I paused it and was like wtf it's still zooming in and warping shih, but everything looks trippy now even looking away 😂 This video is hella cool lol

Does that happen when you drive? I have had it inverse so when I sit in the back of the ambulance and we stop suddenly after highway driving it feels like everything keeps moving away

OMG! A zoomquilt WITHIN a zoomquilt is the most meta meta my mind (and my eyesight) has ever been confronted with @3:21 (i like it.) :) Well done for taking infinity up a notch. It's messing with my sense of depth perception, like a visual equivalent of 'feeling like you're rollerskating' when you first take off your skates at the rink.

How did you make your lines so smooth even when zoomed in, how come it's not pixelated?

Technically it is a larger number of interconnected images. When it zooms in, new images appear that blend seamlessly into the previous.

@@callme_A_K It's a number of interconnected raster images, here each 1024*768px. In the center of each image, the next image is placed at 50% the size.

Oh. It’s a loop, a few minutes long. Also it’s flat, that is as objects approach, there is no change in the relationship between forgoing and background. Quite nice, made me hungry for more, though.
