I'm really excited for Zootopia 2, and they're will probably be a new villain, and I'm hoping for Nick and Judy to become a romantic couple in Zootopia 2.
The thing is, the movie Elemental already does "mixed race couples," so I don't see how if, as mentioned in the video, it would be a problem for Disney to once again cover it. I myself would like to see it.
Yeah, especially considering that Elemental's romance wasn't as convincing. Not saying it was bad, but Nick and Judy have far more chemistry than Ember and Wade. Wade kind of felt like he was the only one really trying in that relationship.
I'm excited to see zootopia 2, judy and nick return for a new adventure and hopefully they have to chase a new villain and they become a couple, new characters and other characters along with judy and nick like chief bogo, flash and Gazelle should return in the sequel too
I have no idea what secrets the sequel may hold, but there’s one thing that HAS to happen if I’m gonna pay for the price of admission. Or, in a more realistic extent, if this movie is gonna cross the billions mark: Nick and Judy have to become romantically involved. I watched the Roundtable fan movie and the concept of interspecies relationships would add a really nice button to the idea of tolerance because it would show how different people of different backgrounds would be compatible even if it seems unnatural. I’m not demanding they get married by the end of the film, because that sounds like another big ticket best saved for a threequel, kinda like Hiccup and Astrid. Other than that, a really deep and philosophical note that I think would be worth adding is abolishing the labels of predators and prey. It goes like this: “Nick is not a predator and Judy is not prey. Predators are those who threaten those weaker than them. Prey are those who cannot defend themselves. Nick and Judy are PROTECTORS - they fight for those who can’t fight for themselves and chop down tyrants that get in their way.” Also, there’s the matter of the new cast. If Nick’s mom, Tarja were to return, I always believed Wendie Malick would be perfect for her because she has that same sly fox easygoing voice that Bateman was able to give to Nick. If you doubt me, check out The Owl House. Full disclosure, on the wiki fandom, I was trying to decide between her, Angelina Jolie, Olivia Wilde (as a joke), and Nicole Oliver. One last thing, once again regarding the cast, who will Finnick be voiced by when he returns, because Tiny Lister is dead😞
I hope Zootopia 2 will do something more with Sahara Square. It was not visited in the first movie, we only got mentions and a quick fly over during Try Everything montage. I also want to know what other districts there are, the abandoned hospital seemed to be in a different area...no sand dune like Sahara Square, it was dark, but not overgrown and lush like the Rainforest District, no snow or ice to be in Tundra Town, it wasn't a city like City Central. This hospital was on a dark cliff, that overlooked a black sea or bay surrounded by woods (not forest), so maybe if it was based on the cliffs and mountain, maybe something like Mountain Sector? How about other parts? Judy DID say Zootopia is a place for ALL animals. So, what about these idea for habitats? Ocean Suburbs Mesa Range Woodland Precinct Great Plains Division Taiga Scene Wetlands Locale Archipelago Lagoon Savanna Zone Ravine Valley Badlands Quarter Dark Forest Center Coral Reef Meadow Crevasse Cavern Village
An interspecies couple has an interesting angle that isn't covered by an interracial couple and is more attuned to a same sex couple. Nick and Judy can't have offspring. Their world still has rules and a fox can't get a rabbit pregnant (despite what some fan comics would suggest.) Still it would be interesting to see Nick meet Judy's parents like in the deleted scenes of the movie.
It’s funny. He starts off as making fun of her for being cute and fuzzy-wuzzy. But just looking at his tail is an obvious indication that he’s just as fwuffy as she is
I hope that in Zootopia 2, Nick will appear as the main protagonist this time while Judy will appear as deuteragonist, and Flash, Priscilla, Gazelle, Clawhauser, Chief Bogo, Fru Fru and Mr. Big and their friends and families, Sam, the Otterton family (Emmet Otterton, Mrs. Otterton and the Otterton kids) and several new characters will play prominent roles in the movie too and have a new main villain that will be much better than Bellwether from the first movie (Mostly due to not using the Evil All Along cliche, Disney Animation and Pixar long since retired using that cliche in their movies and franchises.). Don’t you agree?
Regardless of where our favorite dynamic duo's relationship goes, I only hope that Disney doesn't take the path that has led to their past several films flopping. People have been beat over the head with issues like sexuality, gender, climate, racism, sexism and everything else that has no place in a family film or relevance to the story are what have destroyed previous Disney releases. _Strange World_ has a gay main character. The _Big Hero 6_ spinoff miniseries _Baymax_ has peripheral transgender advocacy. _Turning Red_ has a 13-year-old male character who's so low-key gay that you'd miss it if you blinked. _Lightyear_ prominently features a lesbian couple. The cyclops officer's mention of a "girlfriend" in _Onward_ is so neutral that it almost doesn't register and could just as easily be read as a romantic interest or close friend who's like a sister. And now there's rumblings that _Inside Out 2_ might feature deviant sexuality or "wrong gender theory" to some extent. If there's one thing I know for sure, it's that the Magic Man himself would be appalled by what's been made out of his life's work. He poured his entire being into bringing joy and happiness to children, and he would be purple with rage and utterly horrified at how his original vision has been so perverted. Please, Disney, can we dump the gunk and get back to quality family entertainment?
The problem is, that we're NOT going to get a Zootopia 2 with a romance between Nick and Judy. Disney just doesn't do that. But the fans do! That's why a Zootopia sequel has always been a matter of fanfictions and comics made by fans. There are lots of incredibly great fan made Zootopia seuquels, ESPECIALLY the full length feature film "Return to Zootopia" made by Browntable. The fact that an official Zootopia sequel would make all of those fanfictions not connon does give Disneys choice a bad aftertaste.
I don’t even mind if nick and Judy romance becomes a thing in the 2nd film since I’m not really a person who follows a lot of romance though I do like reading fan comics even if they do have romance in them since in a huge fan of the film and even enjoyed watching watching the return to zootopia fan made film despite it having a little bit of romance it was still made pretty well
I find that ironic how they wouldn’t really do a romance with nick and Judy for zootopia considering that they do romance with their other stupid animated movies that I don’t care about
@@ixiahj I think he means that as of lately they haven't really been doing romances. Disney's been avoiding romance like the plague. I think it's this whole idea that once female characters get a male love interest that somehow automatically makes the girl character subservient to her guy. Which as a woman, I'm just gonna say it, it's getting old. I'm all for independence, but why can't we be independent and still be able to have someone special in our lives that just adds a little extra flavor to our lives? I mean look what happened to Wish. There was going to be a romance between Asha and the Star Boy, but he was scrapped. Not to mention that there hasn't been a Disney film where the two leads become romantically involved since Tangled. "Rescuers Down Under" is a great film by the way. Loved it!
Nick and Judy falling in the love with each other is probably a sweet thing but I probably wouldn’t mind if they just stay as friends. I just want more of Judy and Nick. Still I enjoy the idea of Judy and Nick falling in love with each other. Who knows, we’ll just see what the directors decide.
We know the release date but not the storyline! What ever story Disney have planned i think one thing is clear, everyone wants to see Judy and Nick closer than ever before, just wish we knew more at this point!
Disney: Crap! We are loosing money and peoples interest, what do we do now? AH HA! Let's make a sequel of a movie we made eight years ago. We are Disney, we know how to strike the iron when it is cold.
Well some people may be complaining about them making a zootopia sequel i and as well as other fans are happy since frozen and Toy Story had gotten their stupid sequels so I think it’s fair that us zootopia fans also get a sequel
@@werewolflover8636 That is what I am saying. If there was going to be a sequel, it should have happened while the proverbial iron is hot. I get the feeling Disney will ruin this sequeal as well, due to Disney still being pissed off their Star Wars hot takes never got off the ground.
I'm scared. Disney is way out of practice with couples and after the failure that was Wish I'm not sure they can do a sequal to Zootopia justice. I have a bad feeliong they could royaly screw it up. Just look at Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers they had poitential with that one and realy ruined it!!!
I'm not saying Judy and Nick gotta start seeing each other that way for Zootopia 2 to be a good sequel, but if they did and it built on the plot of the original... it would be almost as big a deal in cinema as it would be in the movie.
On the one hand- I don’t see why interspecies relationships should be an insurmountable problem, when Kermit and Miss Piggy have been an item for decades; At the same time- why does everything HAVE to be a Ship to be interesting? What’s wrong with Nick and Judy being a dynamic Buddy Cop duo?
Zootopia 2 will likely reveal that Nick and Judy now live together as roommates in a larger newer house in Downtown Zootopia sleeping in two seperate beds or even the same one if they become boyfriend and girlfriend and get married at the end with red fox cub and gray rabbit children to raise (No hybrids it is too inhumane.) and Gazelle and Clawhauser now also boyfriend and girlfriend live peacefully together in Gazelle’s mansion before Eve really getting married and having Thomson’s gazelles and cheetah cub children to raise while Fru Fru and her husband and five year old daughter Judy (shrew) also Judy’s goddaughter all live peacefully in Fru Fru’s mansion with all of Fru Fru’s friends including Brianca and her new meadow come husband Matthew (vole) and five year old son meadow vole son Gerald, also Nick’s godson also living in their mansions peacefully together too, while Flash and Priscilla, yet to have kids after getting married Sam, and the Otterton family (Emmet and Mrs. Otterton and the Otterton kids, George and Liam.) also all are living peacefully in their homes in the Rainforest District.
This is what I’ve been saying in the comments to everyone who watched Zootopia this would be a very good plot for Zootopia too if they deal with interracial couples as the topic with Nick and Judy being the couple all the fans want it, we know they do I want it ❤😂
I'm so excited about Zootopia 2... and I'm super excited about (and outright hopeful) to see if Nick's and Judy's relationship goes even deeper beyond of the close friendship. I actually WANT them to become a couple.
They are going to be like Gaijin Entertainment on being late on releasing movies Gaijin is late on age of water a new game that was meant to be out like last week but folks got to take their time in producing something that may or may not be good.
7:41 Zootopia isn't offensive, nor does it de-humanize anyone. The reason why Princess and the Frog, Soul, The Emperor's New Groove, and Strange World were criticized was because those are actual human characters that are forcefully turned into something non-human and just because they're some sort of minority. Zootopia doesn't count because the animals are actually animals. They don't start off human and then turn into animals. This is such a dumb reason to try to negate the ship and interracial representation through non-offensive and appropriately used allegory.
I think a buddy cop feel to a spy movie could work but Disney hasn't been making good movies for a while now and have been to heavy handed with there political message. Even the better movies have been costed them to much due to poor management and the marketing has been poor as some of there projects have been out for a while before I even heard that they're out.
Good thing it's not coming in 2024. The first movie came out during a presidential election which caused film reviews to focus too heavily on the film's message from a political standpoint. As a result, the movie did not reach its full potential.
I agree! The original point was treating others who might be different than yourself with respect and dignity along with statements of bullying being bad. It was a simple message that everyone should agree with. Unfortunately, way to many pushed politics into what should have been a simple message.
9:08 Ah yes, because Disney's best and most memorable films (the Renaissance films and Golden Age films) were definitely ruined by the romances. "A Whole New World", Belle and Beast's romance, ugh, those pesky romances just flat out ruined and undermined the themes of those films alright. 😒🙄 This video is trying too hard.
the furry shit bouta be crazy idk y people think they are furrys when furries are people that think they can be animals but the characters are actually animals and not human and the original movie is the only one i can think of with talking animals being called furries
2025??? Bro I will be in middle school!!!!!! I will be watching stuff like top gun!!!! What I am saying is that kids who watched the original Zootopia will be much older and will not give a crap because they will watch stuff like it!!!!
Ok a bunny cant marry a fox Foxes need to marry other foxes, and bunnys need to marry other bunnys There not even normal animals last time i checked they walk on all fours not on two’s
It’s Disney, sadly I expect Nick will marry Judy then be confused and identify as 6 different genders, become prego, confess he’s actually a female who transferred genders ignoring the other 4 he’d initially identified as. Judy will be a divorced hero. Remember when Disney’s ceo claimed she “Hates children”? She won’t get my money.
Rich Moore no longer works for Disney! There’s no way he’d be part of this film! Also I hope Nick comes out as a gay character, that would be a great message and shut up all of the obnoxious and obsessed individuals pushing for a romantic relationship of the two main characters!
