It more seems like the strength of her constructs varies a lot based on some uncertain factor (that really is 'what the script needs her to be able to do right now,' which makes trying to create a consistent in-story answer frustrating).

That's the thing her powers are SIMILAR to green lantern but are no where near that level he can make construction from his mind hers are limited to her hands

It is not that she is weak, in the show there are few OP characters, the others fall into the weak or the regular she is in the regular but generally they are very well trained and know how to use their powers, She does not know how to control her powers, she has little experience and above all a fragile will, that is why after Wolf almost ate her she could hardly use her powers, she looked more like a famous girl than a superhero. And her character grew a lot, she left the celebrity world and dedicated herself to training and preparing, the only reason she loses in her last battle is because she faces the strongest character in the series.

@@jfoster8624 Green Lantern's powers come from the ring which needs to be repowered by the lantern. The Lanterns use their mind/willpower to control said power, but I believe John Stewart is the only one to not have the physical ring.
