"lik u ogledalu" means "image in the mirror" and she sings about wanting to be herself, no pretending. Anyone can find themselves in this song. For me, it's like James Bond and Maleficent together. 😄 although she sang better in semi-final, she was kinda nervous in the finals that you watched, but still perfect 🥰 The music is played by a German philharmonic orchestra and you can watch "lik u ogledalu making of and instrumental" - THAT made me cry. Its so powerful. We had 5 favourites this year: Teya Dora Zorja Konstrakta Zejna Breskvica it's a mess right now because tele votes wanted Breskvica to go (she is already famous and her song was somewhat political, the lyrics were obviously about NATO bombing of Serbia and Kosovo). LUCKILY, juries saved us from the disaster by sending Teya Dora Ramonda. ❤❤❤
Not only did Zorja bring that theatrical and movie like touch to the national competition but she brought back memories of these amazing vocalists of the 90's ( holy vocal trinity: W.Houston - M.Carey - C.Dion) and great singing era.
I am so glad you reacted to this. It was my favourite. It has a bit of a Bond vibe, which is always a plus for me. Epic feel to it, which, had they sent it , could have won.
Guys, preselection was amazing and Zorja is definitely one of the best singers we have in the country. Her voice is outstanding but because of Breskvica and because of the fact that she is well known and has a lot of fans I feel like many could not see the forest for the trees but Zorja’s song was absolutely the best for us in my opinion. I am glad that Teya won at the end and we didn’t get Breskvica but will always want Zorja to represent us at Eurovision.

After all the suffering between 1914-1918, they returned back victorious and liberated all southern Slavic nations (Serbs, Croats, Slovenians, Macedonians) and created a South Slavic country (Yugoslavia). Problem with zorja is that for some reason people dont vote for her. She is always like 4/5th with fans and she was 2nd with jury. I really want to see zorja on eurovision one day
Trudi se previše. Ima fantastičan glas, ali jako ga forsira, kao na egzibiciji ili takmičenju, ko može da otpeva višu notu ili tako nešto.. Mene to lično nervira, tokom ove pesme sam prevrtala očima svo vreme, Zorja je previše dobra da bi delovala tako očajno, u smislu "čujte mene, molim vas čujte me kako dobro pevam, MOLIM VAS!" Prošli put je bila bolja, sad je preterala.

@@ViciousGreeneyed Kad ideš na jedno od natjecanja kakav je ESC, ideš u glavu i sa najboljim što imaš jer pored tebe, tu je još cca 40 država koje su birale (recimo) svoje najbolje, a u Zorjinom slučaju, to je definitivno njen glas i njene vokalne mogućnosti. ESC je kao prvi dojam koji ne možeš ponoviti 2x.

It wasn't just about those 2 songs. We also had Breskvica "Gnezdo Orlovo" as favorite to win and runner up at the end, plus Lena Kovacevic with afrobeat song "Zovi me Lena", Hristina Vukovic "Bedem", then Zejna "Najbolja"... but yeah, ultimately it was between Teya Dora, Breskvica and Zorja. I don't know, Zorja and Breskvica with her traditional ethnic song were my equal favorites, but Teya Dora's song really grew on me strongly, the powerful message of it in this state the world is in, her performance, emotion, just wow! It is hard to put someone ahead of her, just to think about her "Ramonda" in terms of competition doesn't feel right. It goes for Breskvica and Zorja as well. Anyway, it is over and I am happy and proud of our representative at the end. Go Teya!

Cant regret the fact that she didnt make it in the final. Unlike Teyas song, which is beautiful, this one strikes from the very beginning and keeps you constantly up and on the edge until the ultimate climax at the end. And her vocal abilities and wide vocal range with those high pitched notes are incredible. Perfectness, your middle name is Zorja.
I voted for EIGHT different songs this year. I think it explains how good the competition was. Of course they all weren't winning material, but it was great combination of songs I personally like, and those I wouldn't mind representing us (for various reasons). Title means "Face in the mirror" and, in short, as it suggests this is a self-reflection song. If you are up for another I'd recommend Zejna - like, a total U-turn, yet again absolutely over the top entry :)
it is difficult for me to support Teya Dora, when my favorite was Zorja. Zorja is a pure quality and talent, but i am afraid Serbs just don't value her enough. I hope she comes back to PZE again and serves quality yet again even if she does not win again. She should be herself - an amazing talent.

What she did in the end, according to me and my conclusion, is that we all have different faces, that most people pretend to be something they are not, so that others would accept them for society, because in the very part of the song she says "One I know that well, I'm putting my face together, after all I want to be me" ❤
You guys need to tune in Serbian National Final next year. RTS is taking Eurovision very serious, and top artist in Serbia are submitting songs which is resulting in one of the best National Selections. Considering how small Serbia is and budget they have to do these shows, it’s really outstanding what they did for the past 3 years and quality of songs and performances are all Eurovision worthy
Her performance from the semifinal was actually better, she was slightly nervous here. The song is about her true self. Yes, identity. She says for whom and why I am playing roles, to whom do I own anything...? She wants to reconstruct her own soul/face in the mirror, bring back her true self. Have a look at two more cool women who took part in the Serbian competition, Lena Kovačević (Zovi me Lena - Call me Lena), and Zejna (Zejna je najbolja - Zeyna is best) 😘
Zorja IS the best vocalist in Serbia in my opinion. But Ramonda has more soul then Lik u ogledalu. Ramonda is more of a risk but I'm sure Ramonda will represent Serbia well.

I was really ok with either of these two going to ESC. Both Teya and Zorja were great, I voted for both. Konstrakta was also very good, she brought the song named "Novo, bolje" meaning "New and better" and she intentionally recycled her old staging with practically the same people on stage. That was really funny. All these performances were immaculate and visually stunning, it was so hard to decide. I am so sorry we couldn't send more than one song. If we could have sent 3...
Zorja is the best singer in the competition, everyone can agree to that. But, my problem with this it just isn't as catchy as Teya Dora's song. That song was stuck in my head for days, while this one I forgot about in a few hours. I remembered her performance, her vocals, mirrors, but nothing of the song....

This is from the final, but she was much better in semi, she killed it literally. I like Ramonda, but I don't know, I have a feeling that Zorja would do better at Eurovision. Also I would be 100% sure that she will go to the finals, and for Teya I am little bit nervous. Ramonda is special, but it can go unnoticed. She said that she won't participate in the near future in PZE. btw she and Breskvica came in second place with 17 points each. It was really controversial this year, today was a protest in support of Breskvica bcs she was the first by televoting she had 47000 and Teya Dora had 28000 votes, but the juries decided at the end to send Teya.
I like both songs but Teya touches direclty to my heart and this one is more vocal exibition. And it is more important to be like than impresed becouse of seminfinal where we need votes. Also lyrics are much better in Ramonda from serbian waypoint. This wasnt main contender of Teya, it was song by Breskvica but that song is extremly political, about Kosovo, and i am glad that doesnt go on ESC. It will give us only problems and probably stay in semi. If you react on this song bare in mind that not liking that song will bring you tons of haters. They tretened Marija Serifovic to kill her becouse she gave Teya 12 and Breskvica only 4 points. Extreme lunatics :)

This years Serbia had many potential winners. The people were even upset that Serbia did not send Breskvica - Gnezdo orlovo. Among other things, there was also Konstructa at the festival, and Zajna, who had a very strong song. All these compositions threatened to represent Serbia, in my opinion we chose the best.

Teya Dora's song is more emotional, more pure and I am so happy she'll represent Serbia. I can listen to her song way more time than this one. Zorja's song is strong but too many screams for my taste.

Great song. But after it you ask: What was did about. I think showing of her breast and the problem to get rit of the dress, was the reason that cost her vote. Some people don't like this to see on the event. But still I want to know: What was it about. Someone below wrote, that the song is about showing the real me. But why taking of the dress then.
