With regards to what Vegapunk said at the end - In Japanese, there are two ways to write the sound ‘mo’ 1. も (a word, or start of a word) ^ this is hiragana, the native script used for native Japanese words 2. モ (literally the sound mo) ^ This is katakana, used mostly for sound effects OR foreign words (English or any other language, even made up words like Vegapunk is written in this exact same script) In this chapter, mo was written も。 When mo is written this way, on its own, it can be translated as “also”. But assuming it’s part of a larger word, all we know is that it will be a *Japanese* word starting with the sound mo. If it were written モ, then that means no matter if it is in English or Japanese, the word Vegapunk was going to say starts with a mo sound.

I wonder what Krieg, Gin and Pearl think about the Strawhats, they must be pretty goda-damn humbled. I mean even when they entered the Grand Line (presumably via Reverse Mountain), the first thing they must have seen was Laboon with Luffy's jolly roger. Blackbeard's best trait is showing the limits of knowledge: he often doesn't know obvious things the audience does know, and comes off as an idiot. But then he ends up knowing much more on totally different subjects. He probably knew a lot more about devil fruits and the void century than anyone else from the beginning.

I agree that Vegapunk has a backup plan for when the broadcast stopped abruptly. My favorite theory of mine now is, that the broadcast would appear again somehow and that York unwilling is the one to broadcast it signaling the elders to take her out. It could also be that the other satellites know what the truth is too, and that they will find a way to reopen the broadcast. If it's none of the above then, we may never know.

I hope the Iron Giant is okay after being knocked over by Warcury in giant boar form and continue broadcasting as usual, making the Five Elders and York panic again.

It was so surreal seeing Don Krieg, Pearl, and SMOKER again-But ZORO clashing with Nasjuro was the highlight I'm so ready to see a 1v1 with an Elder and a Strawhat.

I read this chapter twice, and i didn't notice Don krieg and Gin at all thats why i love watching your video for the small things i missed

All the information Vegapunk revealed pales in comparison to the fact we now know what happened to Don Krieg, especially Gin, and even Pearl.

Vegapunk spent 10 minutes waiting for everyone to get video-snails, but nothing so far required a video. There's a good chance the message isn't over. I also refuse to believe the Iron Giant was teased for so long to die in a single panel

So idk if anyone else is picking up on this, but I’m sensing another crew separation coming up. 1 - this arc parallels sabaody and the crew separated there 2 - the crew is currently split in two. Luffy’s group has less SHs but has bonney and atlas. 3 - there is a sense of urgency to leave immediately and the crew is nowhere near grouped 4 - there are two ships that can be used to exit the island with both groups near one. I would hope everyone meets on elbaf, but they might arrive at different times.

I love that Zoro was denied cutting down Charles so Oda gave him the next best thing with Nusjuro being a future opponent.

There are times where Oda speaks directly to the anime team to give them clarification on parts in the manga that haven’t been made clear yet, and he has done so once or twice with the english translator of the manga. Hopefully this can be one of those moments where the anime and english translation shed a bit more light on this situation

I was surprised Zoro was able to send the elder flying with only a 2 sword style attack. It could just be that the elder underestimated his strength but either way it was cool to see

I like to think Smoker was out training. He’s always had a “don’t cry about it, get stronger” attitude and after losing so many times AND being betrayed at the same time, he has a lot to cry about. Let’s bring back Smoker as a powerhouse!!

The last time we saw Don Krieg and Gin was around 24 years ago, that make me feel more old then the 18 years since the Going Merry. All that is 2-3 years in world time.

The eye-popping thing could be showing the effects of Luffy's G5 scrapping off on his crew and also how aligned the straw hats are with their captain.

Wild thought/theory: what if Luffy doesn't become king of the pirates? I don't mean someone else takes it or Luffy dies. I mean what if he discovers at laughtale that giving up being king of the pirates ends of fulfilling his bigger deeper goal that he thought being king of the pirates would get him? The idea comes from Koby actually. His dream to become an admiral was based on a deeper goal as well. I think the idea of Koby working his way up and being offered a chance to become admiral, possibly as a reward for stopping/ending a weakened Luffy, that he turns it down and switches sides. Stating that his true goal is to fight the suffering and sadness in the world. That idea is completely reasonable and can be a turning point that makes a large swath of the marines switch sides to fight a bigger truer evil. Especially when compared to Luffy. Now if that is reasonable, I can see Luffy having the same arc when he gets too the one piece, especially if there is a fight going on right there. The big bad guy tries to use the one piece and take over claiming that there is nothing that luffy can do. Then luffy destroys whatever is there that is significant enough to grant one the title of King of the Pirates. And as Luffy is destroying it, that is when Luffy reveals the true goal that he had since a child that mimicked Gol D. Roger's goal. Saying something that if he had to pick between that goal and king of the pirates, then he will not only give up on being king of the pirates, but stop anyone else from stopping his real goal. I'm not saying that this is true but it would be an amazing way for the final fight to get to its last stage. Instead of "I'm going to be king of the Pirates!" Luffy takes a big breath and shouts out his deeper goal for all to hear, causing all onlookers to go wide eyed in shock. Yes it's a silly and stupid dream but with everything going on, they all believe he can actually do it. All except the villian and that's exactly why the villian is a villian at his core. Not only does he think that the goal is stupid and silly, but he is certain that it is so stupid that he actively fights against it. Ultimate freedom vs complete slavery, who will win? Or some other similar concept.

I believe the iron giant has a camera inside it. Vegapunk knew only the giant is big enough bait to gather all 5 elders in one spot together, and we know Vegapunk wants the world to have video recievers ready. The giant is about to expose the elders to everyone.

I just thought of something. What's in the iron giant is just a signal relay point, and the actual transponder snail is hidden inside Vegapunk's head, just like how Brook stores things in his skull. That's how it was able to identify when he died and start the broadcast.

Also Jinbei throw Zoro like a baseball thats reference to Marvel every time some big characters like The Thing or Colossus throw Wolverine they called it "Fast Ball Special'

How did the Krieg Pirates get there, especially when Gin was dying from poison? They were found, captured, and healed by Marines. Later they were rescued and recruited by Grand Line pirates who needed to replenish their numbers. Krieg may have gone from admiral to deckhand, but he also went from a shopping boat in East Blue to Pirate Island in the New World. (And I doubt he remained a mere deckhand for long.)

Oda knows how to tease us all fr, I do wonder what went thru his mind when the LA writers told him their plan for Krieg. Maybe he even felt the need to add him to the background just to stick it to them, but it’s worth a laugh now in hindsight

If Sukiyaki is indeed the Tenguyama Hitetsu who forged the Sandai Kitetsu and not just pretending to be him while Hitetsu is somewhere else, and if Kitetsu is the ancestor of Kotetsu who in turn is the ancestor of Hitetsu, meaning that Kitetsu was a Shogun of Wano, then what if Ethan is Kitetsu ? The "juro" in V. Nusjuro is something used in Wano for names, like Zorojuro for Zoro, so what if Ethan was a traitor to Joyboy ? He could've been one of the ancient weapon, like Momo, the one who commands Zunesha ( I subscribe to the idea that Ancient Weapons are comprised of 3 things : a pilot [ Shirahoshi, Momo and maybe Imu ], living creatures [ Sea Kings, Zunesha , ? ] and a vehicle/vessel [ Noah, Pluton, what nuked Lulusia ] ) and he's the one who punished Zunesha for whatever reason, preventing Zunesha from doing it's part in the War. Or he could've been a traitor who killed Kitetsu and took his sword, and in the process killed the ancient weapon pilot of Pluton causing in part the loss of Joyboy ? Point is I think Ethan is from Wano. Kitetsu was, like Momo is now, the pilot of Zunesha and Pluton. Ethan betrayed Wano by being Kitetsu and defecting to Imu's side or by killing Kitetsu and getting rid of a piece of an ancient weapon of Joyboy's side.

about the clash between Zoro and Ethan: I noticed Ethan's blade switches hands, when he draws his sword to swing for the Thousand Sunny he's got the hilt in his right hand, but when he blocks Zoro's attack it all of a sudden is in his left hand... Either Oda was really drunk or there's definitely some weird stuff goin on here

Oh yeah I was very happy to see Krieg and Gin...and Pearl I guess. Krieg looks like a proper badass. Zoro vs Nasujuro clash was amazing, with the Kitetsu acknowledgement, it's basically confirmed that Nasujuro has the Shodai Kitetsu. Good stuff.
