The Zoro and Luffy reunion was so precious!! I got so happy when I first read it in the manga, even though Zoro and Luffy are very close they never hugged before, since I love their relationship so much its just too cute. They both looked so happy to see eachother. I was rewatching the first episodes of One Piece the other day where they first meet its so emotional to see how far they've come :)

Eye zooming thing...when it's Haki there'll be colors. Like when it's observation Haki they have red glow/flare in their eyes, both Luffy and zoro had them while using Observation haki. Conquerors Haki has yellowish color now. Otherwise it just intimidating thing...

has it been verified that Conquer's Haki will always be that way for the rest of this art style though? Having the yellow color I mean. Because as far as I know, the VFX for conquers haki always changes. Its almost never animated the same way. But I do think the effects for Observation Haki will always have that red flare effect in their eyes, which I think is pretty awesome.

Fun fact the anime made Hawkins way stronger. In the manga Zoro just blocked the strawmonster's weapon. Then, after being hurt by the nails, he just did one attack who destroyed the monster.

Yeah the anime is well-known for making most of the villains attacks stronger than what they really are. Even some of the fodder enemies take way too long to go down, but thats just how Toei eats up time

Tama is my favorite important child character since Chimney from Water 7/Enies Lobby. She's just so cute. Also her relationship with Ace and Luffy is just precious. To me, Zoro is the most attractive male character. It used to be Ace but then things happened.

The zoom-in is just to show intimidation (zoro) or anger (Kaido). Red light coming out from the eyes is the activation of Observation haki. If you have watched One Piece movie Z, you will recall that Luffy used it to dodge a cannonball attack.

Keep doing the notes, specially in Wano, since its SOOOO vast of characters and things to know overall. Try and pick up in every detail that seems curious. Also the Haki Eyes, it seems to be for all Observation Haki users, regardless of their Haki level.

The red lights in the eyes are the new effect for the Observation Haki. For the Conqueror’s Haki, they are using yellow waves (ex: Luffy against the baboon) At the beginning of this arc, One Piece changed director after many years, and he really likes the zoom in the eyes to show expressions, that is why we are seeing it very often.
