Can you use head phones, instead of using external speaker. A headset option

Was it charged when you originally got it or do you have to change initially before use

Good question. I’ve had it for a while, so I’m not sure but I would plan on charging it right away. I usually get about 6-8 hours of use on one charge. I do turn it off when I’m on a break of its not needed to conserve battery.

You can push the mic down to your chin. It's flexible, so you can bend it into any position that you'd like.
