No matter how much time goes or how many 700 plus hp cars are released the ZR1 is the grand daddy the LS9 is legendary and every GM supercharged car owes their pedigree to the original KING OF THE HILL.
Not to mention the fact that the CORVETTE IS WAY MORE FUN TO DRIVE than the unreliable, overpriced flammable Ferrari. In racing, there's nothing like being slightly behind in a drag race then closing in on your prey, like a cheetah on a gazelle as you row through the gears, completely controlling the situation. Game over.....

What Gen ZR1? C6 or cC7? I think it's a C6. I looked at it more closely. This is a c6 ZR1. Still a very impressive car. I'm pretty sure a C7 ZR1 would seriously gap the Ferrari.
How much does the Ferrari cost ? How much does the Vette cost ? Oh , ...........I guess I'd rather have the Vette and a nice condo with the same amount of money , than a Ferrari , which needs a major re-tune and expensive overhaul every 20,000 miles !
Mark Teo I don't think that was a launch start? Looked like a roll-out start. Ferrari launches way better than the ZR1 (mid engine and dual clutch transmission). From a roll, stock ZR1 will at least keep up with a 488.
I don't care if your name is Enzo, Lewis, Elon or Shelby. If you aren't handling a gearbox you are not sport driving. I'd respect you folks more if you'd just take off with your left foot hanging out the window.

Yes ZR1 wins, but who on earth believes the ZR1 is stock? Sorry. It has more than 740bhp...almost 100bhp more than the 488GTB. Put a stock ZR1, it could only finish second.
Hell Me i think the description speaks for itself. "Basic Bolton ZR1", not stock. And thats a sub 650whp ZR1 FYI. Plus the gearbox in the 488 makes up for whatever difference in power there's between the cars, and then some.
