I actually really like the blade shape of the bareknuckle.

Had my new 20CV Link while watching, and I checked the clip when you mentioned the clip on the ZT, and it is identical to my 20CV Bareknuckle, Thank God! I’m glad that Kershaw now makes more budget friendly designs with premium steels! Great review and thanks for the info as always Bryan!👍🏻

Cool knife but the Kershaw Link in 20cv with OD green aluminum scales is like $80.

Ive had the kershaw dividend m390 for 8 months now and put the kershaw deep carry clip on it. Absolutely love it. I just ordered this knife an hour ago. Can’t wait! Knives will match nicely. One heavy duty and one lightweight.

Give us the option to deassist it if we want, then everyone is happy. I still don't understand why everyone doesn't recess the screws on deep carry clips. It's common sense ZT, Benchmade ect....

My first zt was a 0350 from bass pro. Now I actively collect them

Recently got the Kershaw knockout my first speed safe I actually like it I can still thump flick the blade and that spring bar makes for a tight lock up

Just got mine in the mail this morning. Like it allot. Feels good in hand good ergo’s. Only Con is the screws stick out for the deep carry pocket clip. Wish they were reset because the screws make it hard to fully seat deep.

I like it.....will be getting one soon.

Good looking folder, I like the thinner blade stock, to bad it's speed safe. I appreciate a snappy flipper drop shut action folder, nice review.

I don't prefer assisted knives but I certainly like them and their power behind them.

I like the blade shape on the new 0357 a lot. Very functional and versatile. I’m not the biggest drop point fan, I generally feel the plain ol drop point is almost antiquated since it truly isn’t the best at really anything but works just fine for most stuff. I think ZT did a cool thing with this blade shape. I hope they keep up with the more versatile shapes.

I think I'd opt for the Smoky Mountain Knife Works exclusive Kershaw Bareknuckle. Same steel, ball bearings, aluminum handles for about $100.

Man, we all talk about steel and action, but the clip has become so important to me. Hate shredding my jeans or worse if it bends out to easy.

Really cool looking knife. I will have to pass on it though because I like to fidget with my folders watching TV and speed safe takes the fun away of the drop shut. However if you don’t mind go for it. ZT is an awesome brand.

See, if it's available, I'd prefer the 20cv bareknuckle just because it's unassisted and has a good strong detent. Though, I really like the blade on this one.

Not done with your video yet so I don't know if you answer this. Can you remove the speed safe spring like in the old 566?

I've never understood why people complain about the speedsafe on Kershaw knives so much. It's really not that bad. Freakin baffles me 🤔

Speedsafe doesn't bother me at all. When I'm cutting boxes or opening bags of "whatever" I don't think "gee, I hate this speedsafe crap". The only time it might bother me is when I'm fidgeting in front of the tv. That's why I have more than one knife. Good review!

Sucks that this can't be de-assisted, that's going to be an instant nope for a lot of people. It's also facing a lot of stiff competition around that price and size like the We Practic & Hogue Deka... but I guess if you just really want a ZT or don't have internet?

I dislike the fact that it has speed safe I thought it was unassisted. I do own a kershaw link the one in the 20cv that's pretty similar and it's speed assisted too which again not a fan of assists but the kershaw link does do it right so I can only assume the ZT does it right as well. But still I would have preferred unassisted

With all the speedsafe talk, does anyone know if it can be de-assisted? Like in the Kershaw blur where you can just take the torsion bar out and make it into a manual. I haven't seen any disassembly vids of this knife yet.

Speedsafe is only controversial for me is because it’s considered a switchblade where I live and thus illegal. Either make it an auto or a manual, what’s the point of an assist?

Like the look and the price but being assisted is a deal breaker.

I just ordered my 20 CV bareknuckle today. I cant wait for it. I've missed having a bareknuckle in my collection. Add a premium steel and it's a double win!

Darn speedsafe. That just made this illegal in NYC where I live. Here’s a knife question, are assisted opening knives so popular and sought after over regular manual flippers that companies would rather make them even though it significantly limit to who and where they can sell them?

The only thing that keeps me from buying this is the speedsafe. It makes for tiny washers on what should be a robust knife...

The 0357 is a must have for me. While I generally would prefer a non assisted, I have never had a ZT or Kershaw assist that was trash. They can still be closed one handed by most people.

In defense of Speed Safe... I had 3 other ZT's I'm really happy with. I got a new ZT 0562cf for around $200, less with some credits. I thought I would love it... love beefy/quality knives! Hugely disappointed to get one with a weak detent that barely operated and never should have passed Qualitiy Control!!! Should have sent it back but eventually disassembled, milled the detent hole slightly (just in case parameters were off), and bent frame lock in slightly. It now falls in the minimum standard operating specs correctly. I decided to keep it, but rate a 4-5 Star knife as a 3 because of this issue. If the company can't produce a quality product (asking $260 MSRP for the 0562cf), than Zero Tolerance needs Speed Safe to get the job done. Sad, sad, sad... especially for a Japanese company, Made in the USA. I have heard their customer support is good, but scanning the Internet I did not hear comments like the company saying, "We'll pay for the shipping, send it in... we'll fix it or exchange it for a new one for free..." Could not exchange it so that's my story. My other ZT's (0566, 0450cf, 0470) are good. I do like this knife in this review though and think it is more attractive than a Link.

I would not rage against this model, but I would not pay anything near the asking price.

Disappointing, overpriced, assisted ZT labeled link. Just buy the 20cv link and call it a day.

ZT needs to make peace with the fact that they make knives for knife guys. Not police, military, or - as suggested by their latest cringey marketing campaign - yuppie fuckbois. Sure: policemen, military personnel, and vintage motorcycle enthusiasts might buy a ZT, but that’s because they’re also knife guys. I hate to say it because they make a few great knives but ZT doesn’t respect us. The clips still suck because Thomas W doesn’t care about pocket clips and won’t listen to customer feedback. Frankly I think they’re in desperate need of new leadership and a total re-brand.
