I don’t know how the rule works, but Lively for sure touched the ball on the “double dribble”. It didn’t seem to effect the ball or JDub, so idk what’s called

If a player dribbles and picks it up, a defender would literally have to strip the ball out of their hands to create a "loose ball". That player then could get it back and dribble again. Simply "touching" the ball while they're holding it doesn't mean they can dribble again. With regards to the play, the pass went to him, he accepted it with one hand and went to his left where it bounced once. When he tried to gather it, he fumbled it and then beat Lively to the ball. Lively thought he had him trapped and baseline drive shouldn't have been an option.. That's what caused all the confusion and easy layup. It was a double dribble.

No your wrong, it’s happened before. He knocked down the pass, never controlled the ball. He went straight to obtaining the ball after your so called dribble. The refs make the right call.
