This is an updated video! If you looking for a case that supports the apple pencil, is screen protector friendly you can't go wrong with this one. I will be reviewing the updated case from UAG as well. I hope it will be in next week.
EBPMAN Tech Would please fix your audio! Your voice is extremely low, the intro music is higher but it seems the ‘tap the bell icon’ levels are perfect. You’re the only channel I follow that hasn’t moved on from 90’s audio!
@@ruggedbrother8816 thanks. For the feedback. Working on the audio. I have a new mic coming in the next week. Been having issues with the one I have which is a Rhode. Thanks
Great review brother. On the fence about ordering this case since the black otterbox is a no show yet. My question is when you flip the front cover back does it snap magnetically to the back securing the flap nice and tight? All the viewing angles are great but sometimes I just wanna hold it up myself. Thank you for your reply!
Just received my new Zugu Muse case for my IPad Pro 3rd generation after returning 2 other brands I did not like. I love the fit and the protection it provides for all of the edges. I also like the flexibility in the way it props up. Very satisfied.
My old iPad had a ZUGU case and i REALLY liked it. I chose it after looking at many that were being sold at the time. When the new 3rd Gen iPad Pro came out, I decided to wait until the ZUGU was ready. I received mine just before Christmas, and I was happy that it had most of the same features as the case I owned before. Plus it accommodates the Pencil, all the buttons, the cameras............and it is for a very decent price. GOOD WORK ZUGU!!!
Does the flap connect magnetically to the back when it's laid flat? When writing on desks or the tiny auditorium desks it's easier to write flat rather than at one of the grooved angles. If it doesn't it's not a deal breaker it's a just a quality of life thing lmao.
Does the lid go behind the iPad without the stand, so that it can lay flat without taking up as much space? More specifically, if I'm in a tight space (or I want to hold it as just a tablet) can I wrap the cover behind it? Every video that I've seen of this cover has it laying flat with both sides open.
Great video as always! Question... Does the case leave imprinted “logo” marks on the iPad from the inside back of the case? If so... are they permanent or can they be cleaned off? I’ve had cases do this in the past and it ruins products look.
Could you please show how much protection it provides against bending? After watching the JerryRig video I'm afraid to take my iPad anywhere. Do you have a review video for the OtterBox Defender case for the iPad Pro 12.9 (3rd Gen)?
How does this case work when the cover is folded all the way back? Not using the stand? I mostly use mine as a tablet so i like to have the cover on the back
i will buy it gives me a bit of confidence to take out my iPad! btw how is the protection against bending ?do you think its rigid enough to prevent bending if someone accidentally sits on iPad on couch or sleeps on iPad in bed(some one with normal weight :) ….i see many cases being way too much flexible in the back …i think something rock solid in the back and shock absorbing in sides is the best idea to prevent bending and good for dropping situations…how is it on the back ?you think it's the solution for bending or the search still should be continued?
Dropping is solid. Screen protection too. But bend protection is ok. Not amazing. I still feel that a polycarbonate back will be needed and tougher tpu on the sides is needed.
Hello, on yours, is the side loose? The thin rubber side where the pencil attaches. This makes it impossible to hold the iPad in portrait direction securely.
Just got a case but since it wraps around sides some, it’s tough to swipe up to switch apps without pulling case side down. Does the Zulu case have this problem or is the onscreen swipe bar easily accessible?
Does anyone know how well it holds up with someone trying to draw on it? if i were at my desk would i be able to put some pressure on it as it stands up without it toppling over?
I have had this on my iPad since this video. I use it every day and fly 3 times a month with my iPad pro. It looks great. I also have the apple pencil is the sleeve
Only 2 problems I have with this case. The edge where the pencil charges is thin and not rigid enough and also when the cover is folded back all the way (not in stranding mode) it does not really magnet hold back so while holding it the cover moves around on the back.
Love my Zugu case. Very protective and excellent design allows viewing at all angles. Thin, but not lightweight. I guess that is the downside of making such a good protective case.
It my daily carry case. I have the new uag one coming. I met with them this morning at ces 2019. Their product will be great too. But this one has better pencil mgmt
EBPMAN Tech Reviews Slim is important, with some protection and a good pencil holder. I am so due for this iPad upgrade. I was trying to figure out if i should go with Apple or this case on your video. This one by far is the best I’ve seen. Thanks for commenting so quick. I’m subscribing to your channel. 🙏🏼
My pleasure, I have been in ces this week. Meeting with lots of providers. There will be a case coming that combines the apple keyboard. But it will be some time out. This is by fare the best I have reviewed. I also have the uag version coming this weekend. But I believe this one will still be the best one due to pencil placement.
I’d like to know how closely the charging cable cutout is. The USB-C to usb cables have a larger cord insert or whatever it’s called. If I can’t plug it in, then this wouldn’t work for folks like me. I hope it does though!
Kyle Butterfield it does! The cutout is actually pretty big and will fit all USB C dongles, but not the adapter bricks with multiple inputs, like for the MacBooks :)
@@heauxsia do u think apple pencil takes more time than usual due to rubberized layer between pencil and case in this zugu case especially? I saw one comment on Amazon about this particular point.
happy man hey it’s still me! in my experience, the case i got had some trouble with charging and did take longer to connect bc i had to get it in the correct spot (toward the right side). as far as charging time once i got it connected, it charged quickly + easily. this case is awesome specifically for how it deals with the pencil, but seems to have some kinks in the early cases that were sent out. after talking to ZUGU it seems like they have worked them out :) i hope this helps!
@@rumithecreator6975 definitely it does. Thanks , one more question UAG or Zugu in terms of protection? Do u really think it can prevent a serious damage to screen or bend in the body? Thanks :)
I just order received this today and it doesn’t have the holder for the Apple Pencil at the top of the case. Kind of disappointed as I had expected it to have this feature
Its still going strong. Its not that bulky. The thing is other cases don’t stand up and stay they fall with any little vibration. This case has magnets in it, you place it in the groove and it stays in place. And you can put it on the fridge if you want to use it hands free in the kitchen.
Good review. This review and another one sold me. It' a good case. Packaged like a bottle of perfume. lol But shows they care about the product they're charging you a fortune for. It's worth it. Lot of cheap dogs out there for 14 bucks. To protect a 1300 dollar piece of glass that's actually a computer. lol The only drawback is the microfiber surface that covers the screen becomes the bottom of the case when folded back. Just watch what you put it on. Don't set it down in a puddle of motor oil. lol It's worth the extra money because it's well built and the fittings are tight. Good construction. Great magnets. Researched others. This is the best and comes in colors so you don't have to buy the utilitarian 1984 black.
So heres my only issue with case; The inside flap folds under placing it on whatever surface it is sitting on. I just wonder has anyone had any issues with this picking up debris and scratching the screen??
Great review, thank you! I’ve been keen to get this case, but I do have one question. With the pencil slotted in the ‘neoprene’ sleeve on the back of the case, will the front cover ‘sit flush’ if you fold it back on itself? I can see myself do this when reading or browsing.
How is the cover holding up? The side used to prop up the tablet. I hear concerns around the material side getting dirty and then getting on your screen
Mine is holding up well but yes the material side can get dirty and get on your screen. That being said I have tempered glass screen protector on the iPad Pro and I always prop the stand on a clean surface so the only flaw. This case has can be easily avoided well that and price but hey you get what you pay for right.
I wish you would have tested whether the flap is held in place when opening it up entirely towards the back. That's a basic one for someone who uses the iPad with a case that has a front cover.
Really appreciate the prompt reply! Imagine opening up the iPad cover flap like opening a book, so the ends of the book eventually meets. I wish to know if the flap would be held in place like some other cases do and not flop around or need to be held by hand.
@@antoniolomeli7956 not sure I would, but my wife liked the idea for watching Netflix while cooking. And, since it's shown, just wondered if it worked.
mokhtar farrag hello. I’m planning to get one. I’m currently confused between buying this or the uga brand. I hope that you can can give me some feedback on the case is it perfect ?
RuSh_ Mellow07 I personally don’t like having a case with a built in keyboard. I think it makes the iPad a little too bulky. I just use a foldable Bluetooth keyboard for whenever I need to type a lot. I use one made by iClever.
6:06 if this were to be a true review video, you gotta press the screen to see if the case can stand against the weight of the palm when you are actually writing.
Am I the only person who holds their iPad like a notebook or a book? Really? Everyone is just propping it up to watch stuff? Can’t find a single review of this case to show what happens when you fold the cover behind it and hold it like a notepad while sitting in a chair, for instance. Does it just flap loose? Does it somehow magnet to the back? Why does nobody mention this in reviews?
Been checking out reviews myself and from what I can tell it doesn't magnetically attach to the back properly. There's a slight magnetic attraction, but it isn't nearly as secure as the OtterBox Symmetry for example.
It would be nice if you gave instructions on how to put the iPad into the case!!! I finally forced it and it’s in there but come on, first things first!
