I feel like the sadness of this scene is often overlooked. Azula and Zuko have both gone through a lifetime of abuse and it all culminates in a deathmatch between siblings.
Azula was praised her whole life. The only abuse she recieved was lack of affection from her mom, which was because her father pushed her mother out, and she takes after her father. (Evil psychopath)
@@orppranator5230 abuse can take a lot of forms Zuko was heavily abused physically (obviously) but Ozai emotionally abused Azula as well. She was sent to kill her brother as a teenager and had no choice in her own life. She turned out mentally damaged but still adored her father... sounds a bit like Stockholm syndrome to me...
William Sprague You seem to think Azula didn’t want to capture (or kill) Zuko already by the end of season 1. She walked into the throne room completely confident and smiled after Ozai told her to hunt Zuko down.
The fact that zuko doesnt move from his spot the whole fight just when he saves katara, shows how much he is grown in character and that azula is just running and jumping everywere shows her breackdown. If azula didnt had her breackdown zuko wouldnt have been able to defeat him
Zuko is using the earthbending style, he doesnt move, but let the fight guide him. At this point he just mastered the elemental styles of fight, you can observe that his firebending moves like waterbending and he moves like a airbender
@@ivankadebeljak3957 for real. Zuko is a literal Avatar, but he doesn't use other elements, but its particularity. Uncle Iroh deserves a honorable mention, given that he created this style of adaptability
@@Pallavi_here I don't think she'd be half as strong if she hadn't of grown up in an environment where weakness was punished. It forced her to grow up to be maliciously intelligent and a perfectionist when it came to both fire and lightning bending. Zuko was significantly weaker out of the two siblings and only won against her in this fight because a water bender got involved.
The lore and books actually have a whole bunch of content dedicated to how eventually Zuko has azula help him find their mother until she escapes. She tries to manipulate zuko's rule from afar and nearly destroys the peace they all worked so hard to achieve. Check it out, theres load of RU-vid about what happens in the books and graphic novels
.............. What to say... how to react... two hurt siblings fight to the death... one almost dies... the other goes mad... All captured in a perfect edit.
That agni Kai was legit the best part of Zuko and Azusa like it was INTENSE she was going insane and just the fire colors and just what was happening it was beautiful, intense, and destructive
what's kinda crazy is that Katara is fighting at what should be her weakest due to sozin's comet and Azula should be fighting at her strongest (at least in terms of elemental power).
Every time I watch this scene of Azula I always feel bad considering the fact she kept seeing her mother and how she never spent time with her as Zuko did and how she's thirteen and was gonna rule a kingdom and how she didn't want to fail her father and all that pressure of not tryna disappoint her father and she went crazy and been put in a mental hospital oh god that's sad i feel so bad for her :(
"avatar roblox" xDD but now for real...man amazing job i love to see Azula and Zuko 1:52 - 2:14 best scene edit: and azula's mental breakdown at the end...very well done AMV
Wow this is so bad ass ! I recommend you use Katara when she saves the fire village from the fire factory that painted lady scene was so bad ass but Azula is definitely the coolest female on the show
may i give you a tip (i've been editing amvs for years): fit your transitions and cuts with the beat. i really like the sene selection and they fit the song but how the senes play is a mess for me and takes a lot away. :'D not to be rude but you could work on your flow, watch other amvs and see how other people use thier cuts and transitions. i know it's kinda tough to get a feeling for it but one you got it you'll be an amazing editor! :)
I understand what you’re saying, it was a little tough because there wasn’t much to play off of in this fight scene. I also usually edit to trap music so this type of song was a first for me. Will definitely improve on the next one! :)
Has anybody already read this crossover between "Youjo Senki" and "The Last Airbander" (series) ? It's REALLY good ! It's only at the begining, but so far, it's incredibly well written and the characters correspond to their canon counterparts. It's called "Tanya the Firebender".
