Great angling again, Stu. Ive learned the hatteras watching your uploads and its helped no end, just have the time to do the sort of bait prep that you do though. Only thing i need now is a 5lb+ for PB 😂 im gonna try the dongle rig this Sunday at the Amble Open for first time so fingers crossed I can win myself a packet of hooks at the weigh in 😂😂😂. As always mate, well done on the catching.

I think the reason the fish are swallowing the circle hooks is because you are using Mutsu circles, which have an offset point. The only circle hook to use for catch and release are Inline circles, such as the Mustad Demons. Nice session though.👍

Are you striking into the bite or letting them hook themselves with that rig ?

How much lead do you need to hold bottom in those swells ?
